"Excellent Place to Stay - Highly Revommend"

We stayed for 3 nights. Nicola and Martin are exceptional hosts. Very helpful, welcoming and so amenable and friendly, going above and beyond to make our stay. 1st Class. Their local knowledge signposting us to visitor attractions really enhanced our stay in Caithness. Their house is beautifully decorated and super clean. The breakfasts were delicious and the menu has many choices and all beautufully cooked. Bed super comfy. Castletown Hotel for dinner is a must. Huge menu, very generous portions and also beautufully cooked and presented. Booking is essential as very popular. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend to others.

Schönes Haus mit schön ausgestattetem und sehr gemütlichem unf geräumigem Zimmer, sauber, alles vorhanden, ruhig und alles in allem sehr angenehm! Die Gastgeber sehr hilfreich und freundlich, das Frühstück köstlich, wir waren bestens umsorgt! Uneingeschränkte Empfehlung!

"Fantastic B&B"

We stayed in this beautiful B&B whilst doing the NC500. The house was spotless and had beautiful personal touches in the room we stayed. The hosts were fantastic very friendly and helpful, couldn’t do enough for you, and the breakfast was amazing. We will definitely be back again. Thank you so much

Great location, about equidistant between the ferry port at Scrabster and the Castle of May. The owners were very good about letting us know when our room was ready, providing instructions as to where to park and suggestions as to where to eat in the evening. The Old Manse is beautifully decorated, the room was very comfortable and the breakfast choices perfect.

Maybe the way the wi-fi password was written could be better (lower-case and upper-case letters, rather than colour-coding). Struggling to think of anything else, though!

"Exceptional"

A very clean. Comfortable, welcoming stay. Large suite with very large bathroom . Breakfast was terrific. On arrival Martin recommended the pub across the road for dinner and made our booking., it was excellent.

There was nothing we didn't like.
