The Icon Place 1 @ Central Pattaya

Very nice hotel. A bit far from the center and not many bars etc around. There is no breakfast unfortunately, but coffee and very minimal snacks are served at the lobby.

Distance from center which was a just a little bit far. Not much to do around, but I have seen MUCH MUCH worse in Pattaya.

The room is nice bed comfortable tv great and the gym is ok and location right opposite big c

Sometimes I could smell smoke in the corridors and a smell coming from the bathroom.

Great room had everything and Netflix and a great gym comfy bed friendly maids and reception lots of sockets and lights and loads of space to put your stuff and a microwave and big fridge

Could do with bigger bins!! And sometimes there was a horrible smell coming from the bathroom like a smoky smell.

Very welcoming and friendly people who work here, always there to help with anything. Due to unfortunate personal reasons I had to leave early, and they even refunded me a little and booked a taxi to the airport for me on the same day. The room had curtains that block out sunlight and good wifi, and cleaners did a great job every day with refill of shampoo and water ++ The place is just across the road to Big C, and a short taxi ride or walk down to the beach & shopping malls and shopping streets. There was also a nice little rooftop common area with a view of the city. If I go to Pattaya again I will definitely come back

There is a bit of traffic noise. It didn't bother me too much, and if you stay on a high floor it's more quiet. OK for me, maybe not for light sleepers.

Good location for shops etc and a 20min walk to beach road. Staff were brilliant. The only negative is that it can be a little noisy at night as it's on a busy X roads....but would happily go back there!
