Ilayda Stays - 22 Alexandra Street

The house is beautiful, really comfortable and the decor is exceptional, the bed was comfortable and had two great nice sleep. Only used the kettle in the kitchen whilst we stayed, but the kitchen is well equipped if you needed to use it. Within walking distance to Aberavon Beach, which is beautiful and only around 10/15 minutes to The Mumbles.

Nothing, it was great

Very quiet location! Slept like a baby! Extremely clean! Parking easy! No payment for parking! Well situated! Easy to access. Easy communication with the host!

The home was very nice and cozy, very well furnished and incredibly clean. The hosts were also very lovely and understanding, I highly recommend staying here.

The house is beautifully presented, exactly what you see on the photos. It really has the ‘wow factor’ as you come through the door! Lots of small details that makes the love and thought put into the property really shine through. The area itself isn’t amazing, I won’t lie. BUT being so close to a lovely little beach, great amenities and central to so many great sites within easy driving distance definitely makes up for it. The neighbours were quiet and friendly so absolutely no issues there. Tea and coffee, basic cleaning and shower products provided which was very much appreciated and even bits for any visiting dogs! The children’s favourite parts were the TVs in the bedrooms and the LED lights around the doorway which provided much entertainment in the form of a spontaneous disco! They also got very excited over the plant window in the bathroom! Absolutely beautiful! Oh and the bedding was so comfortable that I took photos of the labels and bought some when we got home!

Like I said, Port Talbot isn’t the most picturesque area in parts so bare that in mind when driving though for the first time. A random one but the toilet seat moves literally every time you sit on it whether you are 4 or 40! We had to clip it back into place several times a day, a mild annoyance but that’s the only problem I can think of!

Location was great we went to the beach which was beautiful a funfair Margam Park and had lovely food at franco's.

The decor is beautiful it has been done with a lovely touch, I left my toiletries at home and I was pleasantly surprised that there was body wash, shampoo and conditioner which I was able to use! They have thought of everything it was perfect, each room was so cosy, ample space downstairs and slept great, perfect stay thank you.

The satnav took us to the wrong road and I didn’t check the road name so we had to reroute to find it but the hosts were fantastic when I called them. The stairs carpet have a few tiny carpet nails sticking out which I caught a few times and the banister although stylish didn’t feel very sturdy with 2 young children.
