B&B Vento del Sud

Marco and Serena were extremely friendly and welcoming. Marco must have spent an hour giving us recommendations of things to see, places to eat, and how to get there. They also did a great job keeping us informed of how to find the B&B. They have an excellent location for seeing the old historical center of Palermo: no more than a 15-minute walk to the central train station, no more than an 15-minute walk to the cathedral and Normal Palace, and most anything within a 25-minute walk. There are plenty of places to have a drink or get a bite to eat in a 15-minute walk or less. Excellent location. The rooms were clean and private. Even with another couple staying, it felt like we had the place to ourselves. The breakfast is generous and quite tasty. We had a great stay - and would definitely stay here again! I loved this alternative to a traditional hotel. The owner of the flat is so very nice, took time to explain the neighborhood and property to me. The flat was extremely clean, spotless. The bedroom was very large and had it's own designated bathroom located across the hall with it's own key which I really appreciated. The pantry and refrigerator were stocked with designated room numbers. I would absolutely recommend renting this property. The location cannot be beat either!

Marco was a very kind host. He helped us making the most of our very limited time in Palermo since we just stayed for one night and had to leave early the next morning. Marco also gave us very good tips on where to park, where to go and where to eat. The room was very clean and comfy and check-in was very easy since Marco explained everything.

Great host! Very nice, clean apartment in the center of Palermo. Perfect location, you can reach every Palermo spot by foot. I particularly appreciated: the private balcony with view and a small table; excellent breakfast and 24/7 availability of coffee/tea/water/beverages (there is a fridge always filled); the recommendations given by the host on what to see/ where to eat. I definitely recommend this accomodation!

We had to leave early in the morning, so the owner got up to prepare us an amazing packed breakfast. We also had some fridge space in the communal area with a range of soft drinks for us.

Pillows were too hard for my liking.

Great location and clean. Marco (host) was a proactive communicator and very helpful. His instructions were detailed and precise. It is a small bed and breakfast but very comfortable. I do not hesitate to recommend to future travelers.

Great BnB! The room and bathroom were spacious and perfectly clean. The breakfast was plentiful with a large choice of coffee, tea, pastry... The owner Marco is very nice and does the best for you.
