VLC HOST - Alfaro A

The location of the apartment was very good and well connected with public transportation. The staff was very engaged and helpful when we had to move to a different apartment due to a water leak coming from the ceiling. Overall, for the time we got to spend here, we really enjoyed our stay!

As mentioned before, there was unfortunately an unforeseen water leak which provided us with some troubles. Another thing we noticed is that the so-called balcony is not really usable due to space and smell.

The location is quite good, close to the trams, metro and the beach. Shops are close by. Inhave to sa that the entrance from the sidewalk directly into the flat at first scared me a bit, but it was quite nice and ok. No stairs is a plus. Nice furniture, clean, cozy, kitchen well equiped and modern. The ground floor and the lack of natural light didn’t really bother us. We were out for the most od the day anyway.

As I have already communicated to the owners, the fact that everytime someone goes to the loo in one of the upper floors, but probably the direct upastairs neighbours are the main factor, the flushing sounds like a huge waterfall and big splash right over your head. Not a good feature if the uper neighbours are on the toilet after 11 at night. You can also hear water dripping close to the bathroom on the roof and there is quite a big leak in the bathroom ceiling. So the plumming and the sewage of the upper floors is an issue I cannot get past. If you are a family if four and two had to sleep on the couch, they also could hear all this ceiling fun during the night - and as a consequence had trouble sleeping.

The access link worked just to let us in. And once we left for dinner, we couldn't get back inside with small children of two years old and seven months, we kept calling the contacts they gave us for assistance and nobody answered. Then we called the non-stop hotline which would HANG UP on us, repeatedly. After two hours of standing in the cold outside the door with children crying, calling continuously, a different person answered the number provided, which was a call Center. This person got in touch with somebody that had a key and let us in in about 30 minutes and promised the next morning somebody will come and give us a physical key. The following morning the same story nobody answered, and when somebody did after more than one hour of calling , she said that it was not possible to receive a physical key even though the door wasn't working.... and we were actually stuck inside this apartment without the possibility of getting food for the children or water... I was lucky enough to find another phone number on booking from VLC, from possibly another office, where a proper English speaking person got in touch with someone that came in 30 min, apologised, and left a key. There were 2 ladies on different shifts available for support theoretically, Natalia who was great and helpful, and Gaja who replied 6 days later - which is beyond words.... Other than this, they have some ants, which is not uncommon at the ground floor... and there is some noise coming from installations above the apartment not sure what is the source - something mechanical, from time to time. In the last day the bathroom ceiling started leaking. WiFi password is nowhere written.

It’s exactly like the photos. It’s really close to the tram, beach and supermarkets.

Perfect location. You can get to the beach in 15-20 minutes, to the Turia park in 20-25 minutes. Markets, cafes and all you need. The apartment is clean and really huge and there is everything for comfort stay. It was really sad to leave and go home🥲 Stuff is always in touch and will help you with any questions. Totally recommend, our stay was amazing!

Great location, short walk to beach and tram stop at the end of the street.

Bathroom door does not close properly

Good location, newly renovated.

Just be careful with the shower as water can easily flood the floor. AC is not cooling it enough so apartment gets pretty hot.
