Vino Villa Tourists & Local Accommodations - 24 Hrs

I am a woman traveling by myself. In this hotel, I chose a budget room, a type of room that has always satisfied my needs in other structures. Here however I found mold on almost all the walls in the room which caused an unbearable smell. There were cockroaches in the room, the fan switch was broken and there was no wifi. When I asked for a light blanket, the girl gave me one that was thrown among other objects on the sofa in the passing corridor. I was supposed to spend two nights in the property, but obviously after the first night I spoke to the owner and informed him of my decision to contact Booking to cancel the second night. He insisted that I stay and offered me a superior category room for a good price, much lower than in a normal situation. After a lot of insistence I decided to accept the proposal because the gentleman seemed really sorry that I had had such a terrible experience. But from that moment he took on inappropriate attitudes, insisting that I find time to chat with him and accusing me with recriminatory messages on WhatsApp (thus making improper use of my data). At check out, angry because I had not satisfied his requests, he started shouting, insulting me and accusing me of not having paid the correct amount. Ultimately I spent the worst 2 days of my holiday here and I strongly advise single women not to book at this facility.

The balcony really nice and the owner help us a lot. It's very close to the center and the lake.

Hotel was ok

They wanted to charge me 7$ for returning my passport after I did the checkin and they required me to pay for the internet used (never was an option at booking). They asked me all the time where I was going and that the stay was only for sleeping and not for working

Location

Family room was súper small, no place for anything. Full of ants. Staff is nice but they need to improve a lot in terms of organization: we have no towels and no sheets.
