DVM escape Flat 2

Was 30mins by bus,easy to find, surrounded by cafes, shops& pubs. Flat was spacious and had all we needed for our stay.

The bedding!!...it was stained both the duvet cover&pillows also unironed, which made us suspicious that the bedding hadn't been changed.! Shower unit v small ok for us, but anyone over average size would struggle.

It was cozy and clean and quiet

Nicely compact, everything you need for a short stay. Good media set up on the TV

The floor of the room slopes towards the window meaning the head of the bed is lower than the foot of the bed. Making sleeping really uncomfortable

It was a characterful older building with all amenities available and working.

There were too many labels on most electrical switches saying ‘Keep it switched on’ although in some cases it would have been better to save electricity we believe. The hallway light flickered right outside our room and affected our nights sleep. There should be recycling/greener options for waste implemented in the flat as there were none. There was an overpowering smell/ too many air fresheners in the hall and bedroom. The larger stairway/ hallway light was loosely attached and came off easily, I then reattached it but it could fall on anyone.
