Appleby 24 Kendal

Very comfortable house for 4 of us. There was milk in the fridge and tea, coffee and hot chocolate provided, which was a lovely touch. Though there were a couple of minor issues, our hostess was very responsive in resolving them.

The beds were very comfortable doubles but I would have preferred a larger duvet on them. The upstairs bed is very high!

Great location, just a short walk into the centre of Kendal and very close to the station. Cosy living area and well-equipped kitchen. Everything was clean and the beds were comfortable. Nice touches like toiletries in the bathrooms and welcome treats in the kitchen. The private parking space at the rear of the property was a bonus. Good communication with the owner throughout. Would definitely stay here again, was perfect for a group of four.

Everything at this property is excellent, hard to know where to begin!! Everything you could possibly need on your break has been provided for and the attention to detail in the property is 100%, from supplying milk, cookies and small gifts, to the wonderful body wash/shampoo and large fluffy towels. Would not hesitate in recommending a stay here and the location is so convenient to the town and bus/train station that a car is not required. Hosts were exceptionally helpful before our stay, providing information about area and places to eat and drink. Would love to return

The property is very well kitted out and is conveniently situated. The owner was very helpful.

Lovely homely feel to the cottage. Facillities are great and everything we needed was there!

The double bed upstairs was far too high and even as adults I was worried if one of us fell out.
