The cleanliness of the cottage, the beautiful bathroom and luxurious shower, with a comfortable area to relax and eat added to the peaceful sense of our short stay. It was a pleasure to stay in your cottage- thank you.

Reluctant to say that there was anything we didn't like because there wasn't, but the addition of a small teapot would have been appreciated alongside your well-equipped kitchen.

Beautifully decorated. Comfy sofa and bed and in a gorgeous little quiet village. Washing machine with dryer was a bonus. Would definitely book again.

Only one very, very small thing, our pillows for us were a little bit soft. I would say for most people I don’t think they would notice. It didn’t stop us sleeping, all the bedding and decor was top quality, it was just us being fussy. The bed was still very comfortable.

Lily's cottage is a superbly presented one bedroom home with such beautiful attention to detail and all comforts required. If you want to stay in you will be well looked after and when you come back after a day of exploring the home was warm and cozy, the sofa comfy and the kitchen well set up.

Nothing but if I could change something it would be perhaps a light over the front door to see when you're opening the lock box in winter (torch on your phone works a treat) and also some kind of covering for the port hole in the front door but those are neither here nor there I wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Excellent stay at Lily Cottage. The property is exactly as pictured, extremely clean, well maintained and lots of little special touches that made our stay really comfortable. Great contact and support from David and Louise throughout. The cottage is so well situated for exploring Findhorn and then further afield if you wish. We would definitely recommend and hope to return.

This cottage is very tastefully furnished and has a lovely calm feel. Plenty of equipment to use when cooking. A very smart combined oven and microwave, plus hob. As we were on an extended tour of Scotland it was also nice to be able to use the washer/dryer in the property. I think the shower is one of the best we have ever seen/used (outside of a hotel) with luxury shower gels and bathrobes. The log burner is equally amazing and was set ready to light on the first night. It puts out a lot of heat, but unusually we were there when the temperature was unseasonably warm and combined with the other heating it got very warm. It would be great in colder weather though. A comprehensive guide book as well, but this was also helpfully sent to us as a PDF so that we could read it before arrival. This really helped with instructions on how to get to Lilly Cottage as it is quite a tight turn ( not helped by the car behind us not allowing us time to turn in) but once we went around the one way system again it was easier to negotiate. Findhorn Bay is only a short walk away and is beautiful, there seemed to be lots of nice pubs to stop in if you didn't want to fend for yourselves. Findhorn Beach is just a little further up and we were in awe of this stretch of beach, with it's very photogenic beach huts. We walked to the Bakehouse to buy bread (delicious sourdough) but also discovered the home made quiche and pastries. We drove to Forres, a town only a few miles away and had Sunday Lunch at the Mosset Tavern. We also drove down to Inverness to the visitor centre and canal ( roughly an hours drive) I contacted the owners on the first night to find out recycling practices, Scotland seems a lot further behind Pembrokeshire in what can/should be recycled. David very kindly put up with all my strange questions. Thank you David & Louise for all the thought and detail into making this a lovely place to stay.
