Communication with owners was excellent. We found the beds very comfortable and the bedrooms were very well equipped. The heating was easy to regulate, which was good as the weather was so cold and wet at times. It is in a very good position, so easy to walk into the centre, with the many shops and restaurants. Parking directly outside was a bonus.

The main lights could be a little brighter. We like ‘mood’ lighting but we found it hard to do any reading with the limited side lights. Floor lamps could be useful maybe.

Had a great stay at The Old Brewery, perfect location for weekend with friends, beautiful charming property, well equipped and very comfortable. Communitive, helpful hosts with quick response time. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting beautiful Winchester

We had a lovely stay in Winchester. The property was in walking distance of everything. The old brewery boardroom was beautiful presented and we had everything we needed. Would definitely stay again

Maybe the pub next doors beer garden being next to the property

"It was cosy, welcoming and provided a comfortable retreat after hectic days in the city. We had a great time."

Beautifully clean with comfortable beds, a super kitchen with all the utensils you may need and fabulously placed for walking into the city centre.

We knew about the spiral staircase but hadn’t quite appreciated that the steps were very steep and a bit slippery when just wearing socks. The real problem is only one toilet which is up said stairs.

"Did the job for us."

Location was convenient. Very close to station. Property was quirky being an historic board room. Owners had provided the wrong code for the lock box, but were very apologetic when I had to ring them, mystified as to why we couldn't access the keys.

Spiral staircase only for the agile. Reception rather gloomy owing to wood panelling and situation of next door buildings.

Lovely accommodation with gorgeous furnishings, near to everything in winchester to walk to

Not having a downstairs toilet and navigating the spiral staircase. But can't be helped with the layout, a small issue
