One of showers had a shower head issue - everything else was otherwise really good.
GBLocation was great, on the whole it was clean and inviting. Bedrooms were really good.
On arrival we noticed there were several bags of rubbish outside the back door. There was also a bag of dirty towels in the cupboard as you come through the front door. Early hours of Saturday morning were woken by the sound of screaming seagulls trying to get food from the bags of rubbish and subsequently spreading it all over the garden. We reported this and were told the cleaners were going to remove it, but it wasn’t cleaned up before we left on Sunday morning. Whilst the house is lovely, the living areas have restricted comfortable seating. The TVS are extremely difficult just to find terrestrial channels. All smart channels needed to be logged into and the tv in the red room was not working in day 2, all we had was a green screen & it’s obscured by the open wardrobe. Bathroom in the red room is too small & very restrictive. I am 6" 2. Ground floor bedroom shower trap isn’t working properly allowing sewerage smells to come back through. Nowhere near enough equipment in the kitchen to cook - 1 saucepan for 9 people !!!!!!! Having said that, all in all it’s a lovely house with just a few minor issues that need sorting.
GBGBThe communal areas such as pool table room and kitchen were extremely cold and it took us at least 5 calls to get someone to come and have a look. After they tried to restart, they couldn’t fix it and it took 2 nights to get normal temperature. The rooms are single occupancy so for a family vacation the communal areas are needed. For 2 out of 3 nights stay we sat in extreme cold. Completely ruined our vacation. The landlord promised to compensate but till now nothing received, they are not even reachable. It’s a dishonest behaviour and non professional approach. Leave the problems unattended, attend them when called repeated times. Promises made but not delivered,
GBI absolutely Loved the games room and such a beautiful kitchen. All the beds were extremely comfy, owner was extremely helpful when I noticed a few things about the property all in all would definitely stay again!
