Lakefront: Dog Friendly, Dock, BBQ, Firepit, AC

Beautiful setting on lake side, the sunny weather made this stay really special as kids were able to swim. We were also able to make use of the kayaks, paddle board and rowing boat! Had an absolutely fantastic time. Fishing was also quite good and productive. Very laid back feel to the property which is welcoming and homely. Not too posh inside but in a way this adds to the feel you can just chill and settle. Bed in bedroom very comfy. Overall property is clean, just old and perhaps needs some bits of updating. I was not concerned about the cleanliness as you can tell they keep this to high standard. Fridge probably needs checking for few old sauce bottle removals.

One gripe was the sofa bed was not too comfortable as it has hard and soft parts to the mattress base. It was also a little tiny bit doggy smelling. I am a little sensitive to that but feel it is only fair to mention this as some would find it difficult. Overall the property is older and holds a lot of charm because of this reason, again there is some strong smells about (just old shut up house) I do feel if it was used all the time this would go. It is a super fun place to be based. I would definitely come back as it was really fun. If you can handle vast amounts of fun, breath taking views and bit of old style vintage home, then take a chance on this one!!
