Thoroughly recommend staying here. Lovely house and village. The host was available to answer questions promptly and went above and beyond. Definitely worth staying here if you are in South Wales.

beautifully decorated house. living area is on the 1st floor with a lovely little balcony area. A little outdoor area suitable for dogs to go out in. lovely town with plenty of shops, restaurants and pubs etc. Also lots of lovely places for good dog walks, highly recommend the common which had free roaming ponies too. Lots of information at the property for ideas to do. We only stayed for 2 nights but plenty to do for a longer stay.

A 'gem' of a place. Beautifully and tastefully decorated throughout and very spacious. Loved the upside down living area with adjoining terrace, perfect for that early morning brew. Spotlessly clean (and I am very fussy!) Wonderfully comfortable beds. We would definitely stay again..hopefully for longer :-)

The only negative was road noise but have to accept that it is located on a main road and so to be expected. Will just remember to bring ear plugs next time!

Location was central for the Vale of Glamorgan and the Brecon Beacons. Loved the quirky nature of the cottage and the kind drinks on arrival. The dog towels etc were really handy too.

Stylish refurbished cottage with many vintage design features. Felt very homely and comfortable. Main bedroom had very comfortable king size bed with quality bedding. Kitchen had a country style feel and was well equipped and spacious. (The only thing we couldn't find were table mats). Bathroom had a great sized shower and original freestanding bath. Great location for The Royal Mint which was 5 mins drive away. In the village there are several pubs and a village shop for basics such as milk and bread etc. There is also an excellent Indian takeaway. The owner Sarah was very informative and made great suggestions for visits to The Pumping Station antiques centre in Cardiff and Penarth where there are beautiful coastal walks.

The cottage was much nicer than expected. There was nothing that we didn't like. If in area again will definitely go back.
