Stunning & Vibrant APT 7 Min From TX Med Center

The apartment was newly refurbished, nicely appointed, comfortable, and well stocked. Staff was responsive. Convenient location to the museum district, Hermann Park and hospitals. Good value.

It's in a modest, older neighborhood.

We liked the size of the accomodation and the host had really tried to make our stay as comfortable as possible. There were a lot of amenities. There was an ALDI close by where we could walk to get some groceries. The neighbors on the same property were really nice, although some others were quite loud (their cars). The price was definitely not bad for the space, amenities and location so close to the Med Center. The host was really nice and responded very fast to our messages. The neighborhood is not one of the safest in Houtson I would say, but the property felt safe because there were many cameras. The fence is however for show, as the gate was always open but it did give some sense of security.

On our first day, we saw a cockroach, which was sad. It was however in the bedroom and not the kitchen, so we felt it was safe overall. The bedroom was not really really clean, as in, a lot of dust under the bed but the bed had a weird shape (a bed frame in a bed frame to give it a boxspring vibe?) which would make it hard to clean. We had a groundfloor unit and the upstairs neighbors were walking and talking at 1 AM (on a weekday) which woke us up a couple of times. There is just not much isolation, they were not loud or making noise on purpose or anything. The pillows were really really hard and large, as in, you could not comforably lie on them on your back, because it was that high. We did however tell the host and maybe that has now changed.

It was exactly as described. Well furnished, location was great and communication was the best I’ve ever dealt with.

I loved the whole experience! It was a delight to stay in a place where the host is responsive and the place feels safe. I have already recommended this location to friends.
