Lower Upover - Woolacombe-4 Bed-Sleeps 7-TJSLUO

Nicely decorated property. Fantastic views. 10 minute walk downhill, 15-20 back uphill (!), into Woolacoombe. Issues with heating encountered twice but were promptly resolved.

No clear signage to show door to Lower Upover, and no lighting on walkway from parking area to front door. Not enough wine glasses for number of guests. Oven was extremely dirty. Shower head in main bathroom broken and no door on shower in en suite - both of these issues were reported on old reviews. Can't believe others haven't commented on the noise from the apartment above. Extremely noisy floorboards. 3 different sets of guests stayed during our week-long stay. Some were noisier than other's but there is constant sound from above. This would stop us from staying again, or if less of us were in the party, we might book the upstairs apartment. The property is nicely furnished, but doesn't feel particularly well looked after. The plumber who attended said the boiler is old so keeps loosing pressure (twice during our visit, and reported on older reviews), and needs to be replaced.

Great location. Great space. Great garden/patio area. It's really spacious. Provides a lot of china, cutlery, and glassware. Super comfy beds and above average bathrooms/toilet facilities. A lot of effort has gone into the decor. Amazing views! Lots of space for 2-3 cars. You get so much for the price!

White bath towels were stained/marked with a not so pleasing colour. Cusiom covers were stained/marked. I chose not to photograph this as it's a minor issue that just needs a bit more attention.

Amazing location, lovely property, already looking to rebook for next year.

Needs a little bit of care. The en-suite had no shower door and the shower to the main bathroom was coming away from the wall and not secure on the fixings at all.

Location

No door on one shower other shower had to be hand held. Glass broken on the log burner and dangerous broken edges. The BbQ was filthy.

Exceptional place. No other words necessary.

The only slight issue was the noise from the renters upstairs extremely early in the morning. The hosts were nice and responsive, addressing this with the renters. Regardless, fully recommend this place and would come back anytime.

The house is a gem. It was a nice staycation for our group. Quite a chilled and relaxed one. The property is exactly as it was in the photos. We had everything we needed and it was clean and comfortable.
