Villa Marie with pool, two bedrooms for 4+2kids

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this delightful holiday home for a week, and it was an experience we won’t soon forget. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality. The house itself was a true gem. Spacious, well-maintained, and equipped with all the amenities we needed, it provided the perfect backdrop for our family vacation. The highlight, of course, was the inviting pool—a refreshing oasis where we spent countless hours splashing around and soaking up the sun. What truly made our stay exceptional were the neighbors (uncle and aunt) . They were not just friendly; they were like an extended family. Always ready with a smile, they shared local tips, delicious homemade meals, and even invited us over to visit their goats. It felt like a tight-knit community, and we were grateful for their kindness. We also loved the garden, where we were free to pick fresh herbs, fruits, and vegetables. It added a delightful touch to our meals, and the kids enjoyed exploring the garden paths. Now, let’s address the minor hiccup: the non-harmful wasps near the pool. While they didn’t pose any threat, we appreciated that the host promptly addressed the issue. Their responsiveness and concern for our comfort were commendable. And speaking of the host, we can’t praise them enough. Their warm welcome, thoughtful gestures, and genuine care made us feel right at home. Whether it was recommending nearby attractions or ensuring we had everything we needed, they went above and beyond. The holiday home is a bit remote. However, the breathtaking scenery more than makes up for it. Rolling hills, lush greenery, and distant mountains—it felt like a hidden paradise, a place to really wind down. In summary, our stay was nothing short of magical. We left with memories of laughter, shared meals, and lazy afternoons by the pool. If you’re looking for a place where hospitality meets paradise, this holiday home is it.

time seems to pass by twice as fast, one week seemed to last only 3 days :)

House is very rural, closest good supermarket is 20 min drive atleast, as we travelled with an aggressive German Shepherd this suited us perfectly. House is very clean and very well stocked with essentials, modern interior and the pool is perfect. Owners have done everything they possibly can to make you feel welcome and at home. We would without doubt stay here again. Absolutely wonderful friendly neighbours. We were invited to their house several times for vino and whenever a local car passes the house they toot their horn and wave, very close knit very small village but you are made welcome and taken care of. We had a super 8 night stay just relaxing in total privacy.

Absolutely nothing for us it was perfect. Just remember if you are travelling from city life as we did this is a rural Croatian village and things maybe very different to what you are used to, that said to experience a different culture and way of life you must visit.
