GBThe sea was excellent. We visitied several local attractions (museums, castle, etc.). There were good.
The rooms were too small. The road to the living place is not good. I drove 5-10 mph a few miles to the accommodation.
GBLocation was very excellent. For family holidays this place is exceptional as we love to travel very close to nature. We enjoyed every moment there especially we loved to watch sunset from top.
GBGBThere were all essential cooking appliances, there was bedding for maximum 5 people, the seaside was very pleasant and close to the retreat, there was working gas and electricity.
The beds were slightly uncomfortable.

GBI stayed here with my parents and my daughter for two nights from 31/07/24. Tarn retreat is a beautiful escape set by itself in the grounds of Tarn cottage which is a very special place for my father who grew up here with his grandparents. I cannot thank Esther and Steve enough for giving my father the opportunity to wake up once again where he did as a young boy. The accommodation was immaculate with towels and and all utensils provided. Amazing deck area with a phenomal sunset directly in front. Such a lovely place surrounded by farm animals and a stunning view of the beach/sea and the Isle of Man on a clear day. I cannot fault my stay and the hosts were spectacular with correspondence and hospitality. Would highly recommend.
