I booked this house as a birthday treat for my mum and aunt, both of whom have mobility issues. The photos looked great and the reviews were very positive, so I felt confident in my choice. A week before our arrival, a review was posted mentioning a leak from the upstairs shower into the kitchen. Concerned, I contacted the agents and was assured that the issue had been fixed. Unfortunately, this turned out not to be the case. From the moment we arrived, I was extremely disappointed by the condition of the property, especially considering the price paid. One of the bath towels provided was dirty and had toothpaste on it. When I reported this, I was told to look under the bed for a replacement. This involved crawling under the bed to retrieve a bag of bedding, only to find there were no extra towels, making it a complete waste of time. The property showed signs of poor maintenance throughout. The large double bedroom had a broken chest of drawers, and the bedside cabinets were badly scraped and marked. The hall carpet was filthy, while the stair walls and handrail were heavily marked. The rug in the lounge was a trip hazard, and both sofas were stained and worn. Outside, the small garden was overgrown and the patio was covered with large weeds, and there was an abandoned cup full of cigarette butts by the patio doors. The downstairs toilet was also not clean. The biggest issue, however, was the upstairs bathroom. Several floor tiles were cracked and mismatched, and the grab rail inside the shower cubicle was loose. The lack of proper sealing and grouting around the shower meant that water leaked directly into the kitchen below, cascading over the floor, worktops and microwave. This was exactly the issue I had specifically queried before arrival, and I had been assured it had been repaired. Clearly, it had not, and this could have had a detrimental effect on my mum and aunt.

Good location, easy to find and well kept.

Very good to bus station to Manchester City. Quit and safe neighbourhood. Close to Aldi and Sainsbury's and a small food and wine shop is around the corner. Easy on street parking. Bery clean and comfortable 3 bed 2bath house. Separated kitchen and living room which was very cosy for 2 families with kids!

Not good quality mattresses but it was OK for 3nights stay.

The location was great for where we needed to be. Beds were very comfortable.

The FREE parking is street parking! The street was very busy and we found it difficult to park in front off or near the house which is difficult with cases. There is a full bathroom upstairs. We used it realising on the last night that the shower was leaking through the light in the kitchen! So no more showers we reported the issue. The 2nd bathroom is a toilet with a small sink in the cupboard under the stairs! A very small space it was uncomfortable to use. There were 5 adults so a 2nd bathroom was required, so disappointed it wasn't clearly stated. The house could do with repainting in areas, due to luggage on the stairs the railing is very chipped, bedroom walls marked etc

Parking ok but is on road and many residents have drives We had mini.al issues finding space

it was a nice spacious house

there was abit of the floor edge that was broken on arrival , it could have been abit dangerous to people that weren’t aware of it, i just tried my best to tuck it in during my stay.

It was expensive to extend a night.
