Centrally located and easy walking distance to shops, pubs and beach which was why we chose it as we were accompanied by elderly parents.

I don’t believe the metal spiral staircase is mentioned or shown in photos? This was difficult for my 90 year old parents to cope with! The parking space was very tight too. I do feel that for the amount we paid it would have been nice to have some necessities such as a dishcloth/sponge and toilet rolls. A small milk to make a coffee maybe?

Property was in a great location it was clean, beds were comfortable

I’m not sure the description of the property is particularly clear. The property has bedrooms downstairs and living area upstairs. There is a steep narrow spiral metal staircase. You need to be mobile to navigate this. There is one bathroom downstairs, this has a roll top bath that’s high to step in and out of (not a spa bath as described), the second bathroom is a shower room and is upstairs off the kitchen. One of the bedroom windows had no key meaning you could not get any air into the room, and was not resolved during our stay. In summary this property is not suitable for anyone who is not very mobile to navigate.

Proximity to the beach is fantastic. The lettings company kindly provided a highchair and cot for a toddler. The beds are very comfortable and the house was very clean.

Overall, the property was very good just a few things to be aware of: when you walk upstairs in the lounge area, the floor is extremely noisy (I don’t think there’s any insulation et cetera) so if anybody is sleeping downstairs, they are likely to be woken up. There is a gate with a latch at the top of the spiral staircase, however if you have an inquisitive toddler, this can easily be opened so you have to be very cautious at all times . The freezer also needs deicing.

Great location, lovely space, easy parking. Broadstairs is beautiful and there are lots of great restaurants and bars a stones throw from the cottage.

Due to the age and conversion the footfall sound from the living room upstairs is loud, so bring ear plugs if you are a very light sleeper.

The location and decor are excellent. The kitchen was just right for our uses. Very close to the beach, restaurants and fish n chip shops.

The house was perfect, we had everything we needed, fantastic location and really helpful host. We would definitely stay again.
