Response to property: You're correct. I did not report the additional concerns because I did not feel comfortable as a single woman traveling with two children. Yes, please inspect your sliding doors again, as not only was the sliding door open behind the far right side of the curtain when we arrived, but we tested it multiple times, trying to lock each other outside and simply just pressed and pushed on the glass to open the doors easily. To clarify again, the door between the garage and the unit locks from the OUTSIDE. Someone inside the unit can not lock the garage door to secure it. As the property manager, you would have a garage door opener and presumably the key to unlock the interior garage door to the unit as well. With both of these ingresses being insecure, I hope you can understand why a woman and her children would feel uncomfortable reporting it to an untrusted party. Champions gate is 30 minutes from Disney and 45 minutes to Universal and this is a great community with daily trash pickup regular landscaping and two great pools to choose from. This unit provides ample room for up to a family of 5. A full size kitchen and dinning table provide ample room for the whole family to gather. You’ll appreciate a full size fridge and pantry. The 2nd bathroom is large with a generous shower. The master bath tub provides a great way to relax and soak tired legs and feet after a long park day. The garage is convenient for parking or loading and unloading on a rainy day. You will have tons of natural light, while the top notch AC keeps your unit cool. If your there during cooler months enjoys the fresh air opening the massive three pane patio doors. You can also see the Magic kingdom Fireworks just behind the tree line looking north out the back screen door. The fully screened lanai has plenty of seating for everyone to enjoy a bug free cool evening or morning coffee. Take advantage of same day delivery from Amazon and a huge selection of restaurants nearby.

This unit is never fully secured. You can use the passcode lock on the front door and an interior latch is provided. However the interior garage door locks from the outside and the patio door locks do not work. Even with the patio door locks engaged on both ends you can simply slide them open from the inside or outside. The washing machines pump is starting to go out and it took us two days to get it fixed our first weekend due to poor communication from the property management company. After fixing the washing machine worked but makes an incredibly loud buzzing every few seconds during certain cycles. It would be hard to impossible to do the wash while a baby was sleeping. The kitchen is woefully under supplied. The non stick pots and pans desperately need to be replaced as they are very scratched up. The knives are a dull serrated type and can hardly cut through anything. There also weren’t enough utensils for more than one meal at a time. The cutting board was vile and also needs to be replaced. I needed up purchasing my own pans cutting board and cooking utensils. In the master bedroom there was a clothes rack pictured but it was not present upon check in but both closets in the master bedroom are locked and marked private. I had to keep my clothes in the closet in the children’s room. I purchased a rack and left it behind so I hope they keep it there. There is a recessed fixture hanging out of the socket in the ceiling. The shower in the master is small which wouldn’t be a problem if you could adjust the shower head but you cannot. The shower is also dangerously slippery but luckily I found a rubber shower mat under the sink. The couch was disgustingly dirty as in dirt would run off on white clothing. Finally the moldy fake flowers need to be trashed and replaced and the unit needs to be cleaned better between guests. We were greeted by a pile of dirt and swim liners stuck to the dinning table.
