This property was in a great location, the facilities we had access to and very comfortable to stay in.

The host is very unreasonable. They waited 4 months to mention a £500 holding deposit fee which they were adamant we must pay, even though our booking fee was less than this and booking.com advised not to pay this as they have their own damages policy. The host then claimed they would cancel the booking free of charge, only to not do so and stop responding to me, causing me to contact booking.com and open a complaints case.

The property was in a relatively good location with a nice walk about 30 minutes into the city. The house was neutral in decor, spotlessly clean and the layout worked for a small group. Some areas of concern that rear patio doors did not have a key so therefore could not be locked, Nor was there a lock on the rear garden gate. Far from my deal for a group of females staying at the property. The kitchen lacked items such as it only had two champagne flutes and one glass and a bunch of random mugs for drinking. A single towel was provided per bedroom but no hand towels or bath mats in the bathrooms. The property listed a sofa bed in the lounge but this was not correct, as it was just a corner sofa which was disappointing for one of our party members. The key lockbox was broken also. The host communication was lacking from initial booking asking questions along the way related to the property and communication during the day such as flagging the security issue of no rear door lock but none of this was responded to until I communicated via WhatsApp.

The location is good, very close to CO OP and not far from city centre, and you have a space to park the car, although very narrow

The place is scruffy, the photos must be a few years back, holes, marks and stains on walls and ceilings. We arrived just after 4 the cleaner was still there saying it won't be ready till 6 so we went in anyway as had an event to get ready for while she was moving around us cleaning. The heating did not work downstairs and they ignored our calls so when we texted about the issue they sent us a you tube video which did not fix the problem but they just ignored us afterwards. The bins were overflowing, the coffee, tea etc I wouldn't have touched as in canisters that just looked manky and was obviously just getting topped up.

The next people that booked came early and left their bags without warning and was put in a uncomfortable position and no reply from host, also key wasn't in lock box but it door so had look for the key

I like the look of the kitchen with its white marble countertop

The heating on the property was set to a max limit of 20 degrees
