Luxury 4-5 Bed Home with Games Room and Balcony

Great for a large number of guests. There were 11 of us. The location of the house was good in terms of very near shops, leisure activities etc. The games room was great for the kids & adults. The separate living areas were good if you need to go off into smaller groups. Balcony with egg chair/table/sofas would be lovely in the summer. Views are beautiful. Drive big enough for 3 cars. The house was decorated lovely & modern & looks clean. The TVs/Sky were a good bonus. Wifi was great. The kitchen was very well equipped & labelled. Would recommend to anyone & would stay again, if the cleaning/washing was more thorough. It wasn't bad enough to make us want to leave though- just some feedback for the cleaner really. Probably could do with a coat/shoe rack near front door entrance. The address is hard to find by sat nav, but if you look for a phone box & post pox- that is where you need to go- this wasn't pointed out & only a bit of advice for future guests. Very pleasant stay overall.

The house is on a steep hill, so not good for any sort of disability/elderly etc. We thought we saw a photo advertising a bit more of a garden, but there isn't a grassed area at all. The kitchen needs updating, as the oven didn't cook pizzas very well & took ages, so we scrapped the idea of even trying to cook a roast. The house needs more of a general deep clean. We had to wash plates before using etc (but that is down to prevous guests). Wasn't any dishwasher salt or rinse at the time we were there, but we brought our own D/W tablets for deeper washes. There were a few cobwebs with spiders in a couple of rooms which we had to get rid of. The towel cupboard in the upstairs bathroom made the towels smell damp/musty when we used them. There was a cigarette on the kitchen window cill, a tongue scraper left in the downstairs bathroom. We couldn't use the back door to empty the rubbish as the key wasn't left for us, so we had to trapse through living area to outside bins which is a shame for the house. Too many ornaments scattered around on window cills & worktops.

Great sized house for a family stay with a lovely games room and TVs in several rooms allowing people to watch different programmes. Nicely decorated house loved the lounges and the view from the open plan lounge. Well stocked kitchen with everything you'd need and plenty of towels available in the bathroom cupboard. Great location for walking into the town, would recommend to anyone visiting the area with a large family as ideal.

There was no outside light near the driveways which made it hard to see to reverse onto the steep drive in the dark. Would recommend having a shoe rack and coat hooks near the front entrance especially as it can accommodate alot of people. Could have done with dish cloths and extra tea towels provided.

This property was large and spacious and very tastefully decorated with all facilities. The games room is perfect and kept the team occupied. The location is great with private parking.

The bed descriptions were not accurate and some of our team ended up sleeping on the sofas.

It is very spacious, great location, warm, well equipped and lots to do in the house for children of all ages. Bert relaxing home.

Loved the house .. perfect size for the family of 9 get together .. facilities were great .. comfy beds and a lovely spacious house we never felt on top of each other. Games room was a bonus and all equipment and appliances in the kitchen were spot on .. lots of everything. Furniture was lovely and accommodation was exactly as described .. we had a lovely long weekend for a surprise 60th.

Felt a little nervous about the 'sound monitor' as 9 adults together are not going to be quiet, but I didn't get any messages so we must have been ok 😄
