BRICK HOUSE - Unique & Central

The property is in a great location especially if you want to enjoy the Car Free Day on Sunday morning on Jalan Airlangga. From 6-9 am, the close the street to cars and have lots of food stalls, music, and small crafts and trinkets. You just walk to the main road to enjoy! There is free water refill in the communal space and a rooftop terrace for fresh air. The bed was very comfortable and there are plenty of outlets to charge devices . Check in was easy and Budi was helpful.

The three things we didn’t like were the towels which are actually blanket material and not absorbent at all so it’s hard to really dry off after a shower. On the bed, there is also not a top sheet but just a soft blanket. Finally, the front door to get in and out is very tricky to operate with the key as the door handle in the way and you need to unlock it to get in and then use the same process to lock it behind you which is time consuming and a bit frustrating. I would really recommend that this is changed to be easier and safer (in the event of an emergency, it would be very hard to get out of the building quickly). However, given the price and location, I would still stay again. :)

It was perfect, very clean and nice room. You can self check in and out which is very convenient and the owner is very kind and helpful. :)

Stayed in Room 3 and it was a great stay. The room is new and modern, bed is super comfy, and great location as well for the Sunday morning CFD fair.

Only problem would be the mosquitos, I got so many bites and was woken up a lot, but the owner was nice enough to let me stay till 12:00.

It was in a great location, close to the main roads of Mataram but still quiet. The building had a great balcony and the rooms seemed soundproof. Overall a calm atmosphere :) Bed was comfortable and it was nice to have a window to keep open when we wanted to that had decent protection from mosquitos! We also appreciated there being plenty of storage in the room to hang our clothes.

The bathroom definitely needed a deep clean, and didn’t really have any ventilation to help with a moldy smell. It was really stuffy in there, even with the fan on whenever we were at home in the bedroom. The towels were also bad and we had the feeling of never getting clean or dry when we stayed there…

No hay recepción, debes introducir una clave y abrir por ti mismo. La habitación 1 está llena de mosquitos y me torturaron toda la noche. El baño no tiene ventilación y se llena de humedad y mal olor.

Beds are very comfy, good AC, clean nice rooms with kettles, warm ish shower, TV, kitchen facilities are great, cute balcony/ terrace. Very good price and lovely clean place to stay for a night or two while sorting out visas at immigration.

No toilet paper, one of our rooms had a pretty bad smell coming from the drain in the bathroom, there was no sponge to clean dishes in the kitchen. All minor though, overall a great great place to stay.
