ATGreat apartment directly above the sea! Nothing I can really complain about. I stayed there for 2 weeks in early November. Cooked a lot on the 2 plate induction stove and used the 600Mbit/s internet connection for remote work. Everything was clean and in good condition. Several supermarkets and greengrocers nearby. Far enough out from the city that you can go for some nice hikes up the (steep!) hills or cycle along the coast towards La Spezia and/or inland (steep!). Going for walks along the coast was also very enjoyable. The train station is nearby and from there you can go to the city center or to La Spezia and the Quince Terre.
The room is really directly above the sea which is great for the view and everything but I underestimated how loud it is. Took me a few nights to get used to it. There was also a rare sea storm which meant the waves reached all the way up to the window and I had to close the shutters for two days to prevent damage.
GBApartment overlooked the sea, close to beach and restaurants. Host met us to introduce us to the apartment and was available to answer any questions about the local area throughout the stay.
