I've been going to O.C. for over 45 years and usually stay on boardwalk in 2 bed rooms, so we are usually split up in multiple rooms. This time we wanted to all be together and thought we'd try an apartment. We took all our kids, spouses and grandkids. This was a great size for a large group. The location on the boardwalk was good. Space was great in all rooms. Having a washer and dryer was awsome. The views from the enclosed porch made you feel like you were oceanfront. Past reviews we read were correct. You will need to take extra towels as only one towel and wash cloth were provided per bed which we prepared for. I would have given a better review rating if it wasn't for what happened below. We did go down for the air show so maybe what happened below was an off experience for this location.

Scheduled arrival time 4-5. It was not clean when we arrived. Cleaners came but couldn't get in until after 6. Signs say quite after 11pm but group on ground level partied all night every night for 4 nights. There was sex trafficking on first floor and location next door. It was not safe to leave our level between 11pm and 4am and were constantly being watched. We watched one girl being physically abducted, drug into a car and driven off. Girls were being unloaded from box trucks that didn't look to be over 16 lined up and "distributed". It seemed like the cops were involved. We saw one cop start to come, stop, back up and leave during the worst of it. Never seen a cop the rest of the time. Contant marijuana smell in the air. Didn't get any sleep or feel safe after dark the entire trip.

Roomy, fully equipped, close to beach

I did not like that there was $125 early check in fee when the place was ready in 5 minutes but it wasn’t that clean (q-tips in bathroom, contact lenses on floor, feet got sandy inside). I also did not like that there were ants (but they were everywhere in OC). The lint trap on the dryer did not fit properly and it caught our clothes and tore them and the mattresses left a lot to be desired (especially upstairs). But these were minor things and the place worked well for us.

The location of the property is great! Steps from the boardwalk and beach. There was plenty of space for my group of 10

Could have had electric socket in one of the bathrooms.

The location is great; perfect walking distance to the beach. The house is big & there are many beds! There is a washing machine & dryer, which worked great. There are small rooms not pictured, like the laundry room, a walk in closet in a bedroom, a upstairs landing before going into the room of bed. Although only window AC is used, the home is nice & cool. Alot of counter space in the kitchen, seating at tables for 8. Parking pass was nice.

There is practically no kitchen items; only 1 small spot and 1 small pan. No can opener. There are many exposed wires through out the house; old cable lines, unfinished socket in a bathroom. A broken old thermostat on the wall of a bedroom, has mercury inside. Not a single curtain or decor in the home, a lamp has no lamp shade. Only 1 roll of toilet paper was supplied per bathroom. Parking lot is relatively tight, as well.. there is a tiny ant problem in the kitchen and by the front door. There aren't any mirrors in the home except for the bathrooms.. no outlet in 1 of the bathrooms.. wifi is very spotty too. We would've liked a broom or vacuum to be in the home, due to sand being on the floor. In conclusion; bring your own toilet paper, kitchen supplies, hand soap and extra bath towels

Very sparsely furnished, the bedrooms only contained one bed and nothing else. No dresser or bedside table in bedrooms, no furniture on the enclosed deck. There are no decorations on any of the walls or anything to give it a finished look. Very minimal kitchen supplies

Tons of living space. House is endless.

Not a lot of essentials. Had to go out and get more towels, toilet paper, garbage bags and paper towels.

Location and roominess

Moldy shower curtain, no keurig, no a/c in one bedroom, not enough trash bags, no hand towels, no kitchen dish rags, not enough toilet paper, would be nice to have two couches and TV in upstairs room for more sitting. Do these few minor upgrades and we will stay again
