The bathroom and bedroom were both lovely! The cabin was lovely and clean and cosy, we were left to ourselves no one bothered us throughout our stay! Glenda was lovely even though my husband only met her on arrival when he went to give her money for the electricity! The views from our cabin looking out were lovely we definitely chilled! Lovely walks if that's what you're interested in are a plenty, especially if you have a four legged friend with you!

The kitchen area could be better lit, it was very dark when cooking! The utensils were rather sparse only 2 of everything so when having a meal you had to wash the cutlery in between courses! Also no serving bowls for nibbles (it was just as well i took my own) The doors also in the little hall they all banged into each other when you opened the bedroom door and if someone was coming out of the bathroom you couldn't get passed!

The cabin was located in an ideal spot for all local amenities. Very friendly staff and Glenda was very helpful throughout our stay, thank Glenda Nothing was too much trouble and we were made to feel very welcome. Cabin was as stated, very comfortable and had everything you require for a 4/5 day stay. Our dog Cali enjoyed the treats on offer and Alex myself and Cali will be back for another visit and have no problem recommending the Highland lodges to our friends 😀

soundproofing. i could hear the neighbours snore and cough electricity payment extra! first time in decades of international travel that this has happnened advert photos misleading as indicating individual lodges, rather than a single building with partitions..

Peaceful and quiet

Felt as we had a dog our lights went out before 10pm and was extremely dark

It was situated in a beautiful area , and It was warm and cosy

The price was quite high, and dogs are priced high compared to lots of other lodges I’ve stayed at . The lodge looked out to main offices and wasn’t very private.. the carpet and curtains were stained.

Loved the feel and style of the lodge, internal facilities were ok and it was peaceful with lovely views from the porch.

Had to pay extra for Electric?! And Towels?!
