The apartment was spacious for 4 adults, it was modern, comfortable, safe and clean and within easy reach of the city centre by Uber, which costs around €5 and which are always available within a few minutes. If you prefer to walk it is a pleasant 40 minute stroll. The apartment is very secure. It was very quiet in the apartment block and surrounding residential area. Communication with the hosts is excellent. There are lots of dishwasher tablets but not much else, so you pretty much have to buy everything if you’re staying in. There was one fan, which is essential, especially in the summer months. The two beds are big and really comfortable!

The entrance isn’t pretty, but as soon as you’re inside that’s forgotten and the apartment is modern and very comfortable. There was a mass of wet laundry left in both the washing machine and the tumble dryer by mistake by the cleaners and only 8 coat hangers for 4 adults. We were staying for 6 nights, so needed to hang our clothes up. Both issues were resolved the next day though, after we reported them. There are no plugs in the bathroom or kitchen sinks for some reason and no lock on the bathroom door, which isn’t ideal when you’re sharing with friends. There are no clothes washing tablets; one or two would have been useful. There are no bedside lamps, or dimmer switches, so you have to have the main lights on or no light at all. There is no happy medium. Another fan for the second bedroom is required in the summer months. The biggest issue is that the shower is a hand held one and is very powerful, so you have to hold onto it securely to avoid flooding the bathroom floor. It is a good shower, but it’s inside the bath and isn’t attached to anything at height, which makes washing your hair quite a challenge, having to turn it off and on between shampooing, conditioning and rinsing your hair. Only one of the liquid dispensers had soap in it after the second day, so the bathroom sink one clearly hadn’t been refilled by the cleaners. The washing machine & dryer have been crammed into the bathroom, which is already very tight for space, so using them is not easy. There are no goodies on arrival, which you do get at many apartments, not even basics such as water, so be prepared to have to buy almost everything except dishwasher tablets which were plentiful! There were the odd spices etc. in the cupboard that previous guests had left. A second entry fob for the front door would be helpful, otherwise you all have to come back at the same time, which is not always practical when you’re staying with another couple.
