USSpacious enough for our group.
Difficult door lock, no coffee, soap. Parking was challenging until after 5 pm. Parking fees must be paid every two hours until 6:30 pm. Noisy.
IEExcellent host, great location
Rooms would be better if they they had blackout blinds, bright very early in the morning
USThe property is in a great location. Right downtown, not too noisy though. Near shops, restaurants, bars. Convenience store across the street. Parking available right outside. It is beautifully renovated. Looks and feels brand new.
It was a little hot on the upper floor. No way to turn on the A/C. Had to open the windows and it’s a busy area. Also, we couldn’t get the front door to lock. It was a lil unnerving sleeping with an unlocked front door is a busy city! I’m sure that’s been corrected by now.
USThe location was amazing. It made it so easy to see all that we wanted to see in Galway. Communication with the host was good as well.
It would have been nice to have another set or two of keys. Having a few couples there made it difficult to coordinate with having to leave keys in the lock box and not being able to lock the door if others were still out. I know it is also constrained by a difficult layout, but the living/dining area was a bit difficult to gather in.
ESThe house is incredible. It has everything you need. Everything is beautiful, very clean, and very well maintained. The person who hosted us is very kind. I will definitely come back.
USThe location, near local pubs, coffee shop and a convenience store
It was nice but the price you pay there was no body soap, shampoo, or coffee. There was a coffee maker but no coffee. No microwave. Only one key supplied which was inconvenient with 5 people.
USLocation, space, cleanliness
Noise from the street
GBOwner/manager Jackie was very helpful when we called to say there was no iron, hairdryer or tea towels. Dropped off next morning. Property is very well placed to walk into town. Parking is a bit of an issue but there is Galway CC car park opposite Lidl ( a 5 min walk away) which costs 6 euro per day. You need to download an app to pay. There are at least 5 bars within 100m of the property which makes for some noise and also there is a road running next to the property. Expect some noise as a result. Inside the decor is urban chic and looks mostly new. Beds are comfortable and the linen clean and fresh. Ample towels. Bring your own tea and coffee. You can get essential supplies from a tiny grocery shop across the road. MCSwiggans is a very good restaurant and is spitting distance away. Book early.
Location made for some noise but equally location added to character.
IEThe property is in an ideal area to visit Galway city. It is newly refurbished to a high standard, with very clever use of space to give ample bedroom and living space for any break.
nothing at all!
