Nice Apartment 3 - City Center

Great location, had everything you need to cook at home

We’ve had a Nice stay! Easy to enter because there was No key but a code to use. Tiny but everything you needed for two persons was there. Very nice that there was airco in the bedroom and blinds. Near to Meteora, only 15min drive! Also enough shops nearby!

The bathroom was very Tiny and compact. Also in the kitchen there could be more equipment to cook, only the very basics were there.

the best for this apartment was the location, its 15 till 20 minutes walked from train station kalampaka and 1 minute to bus station that taking us to go up to monastery, walking about 5 minutes we arrived in city centre with all nice place to eat with view from meteora... what a great property to stay.

This apartment is 2 min walk from where the bus will drop you off which also leaves you centrally located to everything. Train Station approx 10 min walk. Very easy to find apartment and check in process is easy. The town is all walkable by foot. To go to Monasteries 1.60 Euro one way or all-day ticket is 5.50E to get to the bus to the monasteries. Where you are dropped off is the same place you get the bus to go to the monasteries and if going to Larisa or further away. Super convenient. The apartment is on floor 1 and there is no lift. The supermarket eateries coffee shop is all within a 5 – 10 min walk. Owners are very responsive friendly and happy to answer any questions you may have before,during or after your stay in our case we needed to. We had an issue with some things we left behind and the owner followed up as soon as they were aware of our situation. There is a view from the balcony, and the neighbours, if you see them are friendly. There is a clothes line near the balcony so you can hang any hand washing you have done here. At the time of our stay there were no pegs provided. The kitchen is reasonable equipped but could do with a cutting board, sharp knife, pans for oven and plug for the sink. On our arrival there was an issue with the hot water that the owner was not aware of and the issue was fixed straight away. 10++ for their very quick response. The Internet was slow at times but in general was quite good. Quiet Safe Secure location. Hot showers, oven, cooktop, sandwich maker, kettle and good-sized fridge with freezer section. There are extras in the apartment like hand towel, kitchen towel and some basic condiments. (salt/vinegar/sugar/coffee for brewing) on site during our stay. Air Conditioner works well. The apartment and bathroom are small but having fold out table in the kitchen works great for this apartment, but 4 nights still was fine. Bed is comfortable, lovely linen and the apartment has good natural light.

They have an oven but no baking trays/aluminium foil supplied so we were unable to use as we do not travel with these items. Mosquitoes (just that one that annoys you!!!) in the evening can come into the apartment as there is no screens. A can of spray to kill mosquitoes would have been nice to have. Overall this is an amazing apartment the owners are very responsive and the location etc deserves a 10++ even though we have mentioned some very minor things here.
