Where do I begin…my girlfriend and I were staying at a nearby camp less than 10 minutes away, and I messaged Youssef (more on this intimidating and deceitful character later) asking if he could arrange a pickup for us. Remarkably he told us it would be 600 MAD to get a driver from Marrakech to come and drive us for the 10 minute drive, or he would personally collect us for 300 MAD. Less than 10 minutes in a taxi would be cheaper than this in London! This was the first warning sign. Kindly our other camp dropped us at this place for free…as you might expect. Upon arriving at the camp, the reception staff seemed friendly. However, in the evening I had a message from Youssef requesting me to immediately come and pay my bill. I’ve stayed in many hotels but never have I had to pay for my stay half way through (this included the dinner, that my girl friend and I hadn’t even eaten yet). I wanted to pay through bank transfer but this was aggressively declined by Youssef and 3 other men who suddenly appeared in the evening. They literally marched us to an ATM that they bizarrely have within the camp (in the middle of a desert!) and forced us to withdraw the cash at a woeful exchange rate. It was then demanded we paid in full…but I declined and said we will pay upon departure, which was not well received. The dinner was mediocre at best, with small portions and extremely expensive drinks. Youssef then tried to send friendly messages the morning after, however, our experience had been ruined. We will not be back to the Agafey, and I advise you to stay away from this camp if you want a relaxed and safe environment. It was an intimidating experience at best and has massively tainted our experience in such a lovely country. I am sure the manager will have something to say in response, but why take the risk. Go elsewhere.

I felt at home + Extraordinary place, quiet, beautiful and clean, the guys who run it are kind and professional,, and the wonderful ladies, comfortable beds and top breakfast.

My stay at Agafay yes we camps was absolutely wonderful! The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making everything feel perfect. The tent we reserved was comfortable and well-equipped, and the price was very reasonable for such an amazing experience. Breakfast was delicious, and the dinner was just as great. All in all, everything exceeded my expectations, and I highly recommend this place!

My stay at "Agafay Yes We Camps" was really unforgettable! The stunning views and tranquil atmosphere made it perfect, and the staff were exceptional, making us feel right at home. We had a wonderful time!
