Aria di Collina - Isola d'Elba

A hidden gem that I can’t wait to visit again. Everything was perfect. The hosts go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. We asked if there was any mold to make ice and one of the hosts went out of their way to go buy some for us! The apartments are newly renovated and tastefully decorated, a rare find in Elba. The bed was very comfortable and the apartment has everything you need for your stay, even a bluetooth speaker! The view is priceless. If you want peace and tranquility only 9 minutes away from Porto Azzuro, this is your place. Enjoy your breakfast or the sunset with the view over the harbor and scent of wild herbs and flowers. 10/10

A million-dollar view and priceless serenity Situated with complete privacy for all accommodations. The scents of wild herbs, ( rosemary, sage, wild fennel, oregano, ) the location and spectacular view within the outdoor sauna, the winds, the owls at night. During the day or evening, all moments brought its own endearing values. We were lucky to witness the small periods of fireflies. We are Dutch, living in Italy. The hosts gave immediately comfort and the feeling we were welcome and truly guests. What we appreciated were the utensils and primary commodities. From olive oil to coffee tea sugar etc. The beds slept fantastic. The apartment was bright, clean and foreseen with all as it was a little house. You need to accept that the bumpy road of maybe 5 - 8 minutes, is a small investment for a breathtaking unique place. Its rare that hosts (owners) really make you feel the place they worked hard for, is considered yours for the moment you occupy it.

Only envy

Everything is excepcional. The place, the views, the comfort of the apartments, the owners, the fresh eggs, A great place to enjoy Elba. If you try it, you will come back

The place is located up the side of the hill and has lovely views. The hosts are very helpful, and on site. The unit is comfortable and has everything needed. It is large and well heated. The shower is great - and powerful. It is very quiet. The unit is very clean. We would certainly recommend staying here, and if we return to Elba, we would certainly stay here again.

There were a few things to mention, that did not greatly disturb our enjoyment, but means I have given a 9 and not a 10 (as the place will probably deserve in a year or two). There is something wrong with the electricity supply and the lights flash. This is most disconcerting when trying to read. The double bed has two single duvets which although quite the norm in Germany, we personally are not keen on this, and as far as we have seen in a dozen or so stays, not seen in top Italian places. The amenities are described as modern, but the kitchen appliances, although clean and perfectly operational are at least 20 years old. The drive up could be challenging for low-slung cars; it was no problem for us in the Jeep. The outside of the house, the balcony and the picnic table are a little tired and a quick coat of paint would certainly liven them up. To be fair though, the hosts are working hard to make the place better. It is just a question of time.

The apartment is impeccably designed and furnished, with a fantastic attention to detail that makes it feel both luxurious and comfortable. Every amenity you could need is provided, from the well-equipped kitchen to Smart TV, making it easy to settle in and feel at home. The location is incredibly peaceful – it’s a true retreat away from the noise of daily life, allowing for deep relaxation surrounded by Elba’s natural beauty. Waking up to such tranquility was a highlight of our stay. Additionally, the hosts were exceptional – they were available for any questions, offering assistance whenever needed, while giving me complete privacy to enjoy the property. This was such a memorable experience that we already plan to return. I highly recommend Aria di Collina to anyone visiting Elba. It’s an absolute gem!

A fantastic, authentic and tasteful place with the most sympathetic professionals as hosts, which really know how to make you feel comfortable and supported in a very easy, unobtrusive and natural way.

There was nothing to complain about! Pity, that we had to leave and that we ‚lost’ one day because our old car didn't cope well with the Italian roads and we ended up in workshop.

Everything. Since staying here we have talked of little else other than how enjoyable this stay was and about when we can come back. Lovingly restored historic buildings, that have been sympathetically decorated to make them feel both rustic and luxurious. The entire apartment was kept at a perfect temperature so we were comfortable throughout. We brought food with us to eat on the terrace with the most amazing view, and found every kitchen utensil needed. Even the plates and bowls were in keeping with the style of the accommodation. The apartment came with a smart speaker and a TV with Netflix for guests to use which was so cleverly formatted for each group of guests (English adults, English kids, German kids etc). The view is breathtaking, and while we sat outside we witnessed a large group of wild boars moving down the hill right next to the terrace which was like being on safari. The house is located within the nature reserve so for nature lovers (like us) this was ideal. Our 7yo son fell in love with Nero the cat and Rosa the little corgi which made the experience even more magical for him. The properties are run by the loveliest couple, who were happy to give us some information on the area and tell us some funny anecdotes of their experiences in Elba. They even tried to help us to find accommodation for the following nights as this property was sadly fully booked.

There was nothing we did not like. Perhaps only that we had to leave :)

These are tastefully furnished apartments in typical Tuscan-style houses. The view is breathtaking. The accommodation was clean and basically well equipped. Florian and Marcus are very kind and helpful in fulfilling any request. There are many sandy beaches nearby, although they are basically accessible by car. Parking is possible next to the house of your choice. There is also a well-equipped shop nearby (also by car).

Accessibility requires adventurous and more experienced driving skills. The soundproofing of the house (Casa Maestrale) is not perfect, if the guest living above you is noisy, it can cause inconvenience. Regardless, it was a memorable vacation, we had a good time.

Nothing at all

the place was terrible, very scary, there were reptiles everywhere, noise during the night due to the windows and doors not being secure.

The views and solitude were amazing.

There was no breakfast but we weren’t expecting one. The road to the property was challenging and not for the faint of heart. But worth it once you got there.
