Family Fun Cabin on Bluff Mountain-Hot Tub & Game Room

Black Bear chalet is perfectly located, comfortable, cozy, and an excellent value. Everything about the cabin was well thought out and included to ensure convenience, comfort, and enjoyment by the guests. From the well equipped kitchen, to all the little things such as makeup removal wipes, dish tablets, oscillating fans for the bedroom, a smores station, and an amazing coffee station, you could tell the owners put a lot of effort into ensuring a comfortable stay. Their care and attention to detail was greatly appreciated and unmatched. The beds were very comfortable. The property owners were very polite and quick to answer questions and reply to messages. It was a great experience and I highly recommend.

Unfortunately the hot tub was broken when we were there. Host offered to send someone out but we were only there the night.

House is very cute and cozy! Beds are very comfortable and water pressure in shower upstairs is great.

Only issue is the water odor. It has a metallic smell in the kitchen and even in the shower. Perhaps some type of filtering system due to it being well water? Not that we didn't enjoy our departing guests while packing up, just be aware of the bears! Two cubs were trying to get in the back of my SUV. No food was in there, but they pulled out a bag with my sister's shoes! :) No damages.

Surrounding and quiteness.

The cabin is darker compared to the pictures presented. 2 rocking chairs for the front porch would be a great addition. Presence of black bears was only mentioned after booking. It could be part of the description.

Incredible stay at the Black Bear Chalet. Perfection location 5 mins from Pigeon Forge and Sevierville, but in the quiet of the mountains. A low cabin in a valley with close access to the car. (Great for families!) Inside the cabin was beautiful and it had everything we needed for a special stay. Our kids loved it and can't wait to come back. Leslie the host was brilliant, she kept us informed throughout and couldn't have been more helpful. 👏🏻
