"Bellavista penthouse" with glass elevator !

Super location , well appointed and clean. The host was super attentive and friendly.

As advised the lift system is still being installed, there are 6 flights of stairs up to the apartment and the staircase is very poorly lit.

Fantastic experience with Guido, he was EXTREMELY helpful (we even forgot something and he mailed it to us). The house is amazing, would recommend over any 5 star hotel, possibly the best place to stay in Lucca if not Italy (certainly was the best during our trip). We'll be back. Gorgeous bathroom, gorgeous living room, gorgeous bedroom, strong AC! Extreme attention to detail (theres a prosciutto board, every single kitchen supply you could ever imagine needing, basically everything). Wonderful place. One of the best experiences I've ever had.

This superb apartment is located in the heart of the action in Lucca. Located in the 3rd floor penthouse, this apartment is light and bright. Our host/owner, Guido, was extremely pleasant & helpful. The apartment was absouletely spotless and clean. Super quiet at night, and the sunrise views were magical. The building is located on a small square with cafes right our your front door. Many excellent shops and restaurants are very nearby. Parking is about a 10 minute walk. The elevator is not installed as of our visit - so, be mindful if you have a lot of luggage. 3 flights of stairs. But, well worth the tranquility. We will definitely be returning to this property in the near future. Thank you Guido! Highly recommended.

Beautifully renovated flat in a great location with everything you could need and a great host who made us feel very welcome, provided recommendations and checked in by text to see if there was anything we needed .

The flat is on the third floor and there is currently no lift but it is worth the climb and has a great view.

When travelling long-term, you soon learn when you've booked an exceptional property, and this apartment is one of those. It's in the heart of Lucca but only 15 minutes' walk from the station. The decor is modern and stylish, and the well-sized rooms are light and bright with all the amenities you need while travelling. It also has those glorious views over the Lucca rooftops... the towers and the statue of the ArcAngel San Michele. And if that wasn't enough, there’s the music and the bells... truly magical and what I love about Italy. If you prefer quiet time, you can close the double glazed windows as the apartment has both heating and air conditioning. Guido, the host, met me on arrival and very kindly took my suitcase up to the apartment as the elevator is under construction (to be completed July 2025). He provided numerous recommendations (do try the gelato at Gelateria Veneta!). Guido is an enthusiastic host, keen to provide a great accommodation experience for his guests. Other than the completion of the elevator, I'm not sure what more he could add. Bellavista Penthouse is wonderful property and Guido an exceptional host.

That I had to leave!

Everything was perfect; the kitchen was well equipped for any and all meals and very clean with sharp knives and pans in mint condition. Water pressure fantastic, bathroom spa like. Bed and linens were exquisite. Location was exceptional in the oldest part of the walled city, so romantic!! Guido, our host, was phenomenal. He offered great suggestions and itineraries, and checked in on us often. We were so lucky to find Belle Vista and wish we could've stayed longer than a week.

Excellent location right in the centre of the historical centre of Lucca. Bright , clean and comfortable apartment with everything you need. Very comfortable bed and excellent decor. Beautiful views of Lucca rooftops and mountains in the distance.The host Guido was extremely helpful in all aspects and we could not have asked for a better host.

The owner is installing a lift to make access to the apartment easier .

The location overlooking a small piazza with a good produce store, a famous wine store, butcher shop just around the corner. Very convenient and good atmosphere. The high level apartment afforded good sunlight and views over the nearby rooftops. Apartment nicely designed (contemporary style) with useful kitchen, clean and highly functional bathroom, comfortable sitting area (two couches), nice lighting, and new comfortable bed. We appreciate the stairs as we welcome the exercise. Best of all, the host Guido was an exemplary gentleman, very thoughtful and accommodating. A good friend to have in Lucca!
