Villa Palamara 1868-Toweronthesea

Erg mooie locatie met een prachtig uitzicht. Kamer was prima, maar wat gedateerd. Fijn, rustige locatie met een fijn zwembad.

De accommodatie bevindt zich op een berg, waar je via een smal kiezel pad komt. Het pad is vrij stijl, prima te doen maar wel fijn om van te voren te weten. Bedden waren hard en slaapbank volledig ingezakt. Contactpersoon heeft er alles aan gedaan om een oplossing te vinden, dat was fijn maar hielp een beetje.

La location è fantastica, immersa nel verde tra alberi e fiori. La visuale è spettacolare. Piscina comoda e ben curata. Buona la colazione, anche se chiude alle 9.30.

Il bagno era davvero piccolissimo. Attenzione a non spegnere la caldaia (tasto a parete come quelli della luce, non adeguatamente segnalato!). Un po' scomoda la strada d'accesso (stretta, inclinata e con tornanti). Le stanze non sono adeguatamente insonorizzate. Manca un ristorante in struttura (o meglio, apre solo in certe condizioni), il che costringe a scendere in paese per pranzo e cena.

Przepiękna willa, smaczne śniadania, bardzo spokojne miejsce, niesamowity basen z widokiem na morze. Gospodarz Andrea bardzo sympatyczny i miły człowiek. Bardzo pomocny.

We really enjoyed our stay at this. The apartment itself was comfortable, but the location and the pool with its stunning sea view made it truly special. A great spot to relax and explore the area – highly recommended!

Śniadanie, codziennie to samo, monotonnie, brak warzyw, nic na ciepło...i Antonio. który był niemiły, kiedy zaatakowały nas osy to nie pozwolił wziąć kubka i talerzyka ze śniadaniem do pokoju (kubek z Ikea) bo twierdził, ze sie pomylą z tymi w pokoju, chociaż tam były inne, a nie było możliwości zjedzenia śniadania wewnątrz budynku

Service seitens des Vermieters ( nicht präsent), sehr limitiertes Frühstück für den Preis, in die Jahre gekommene Ausstattung ( insbesondere Dusche, Moskitonetze etc., zu mickrig für den Preis

Exactly like on photos. The pool is great and the territory of the Villa is very beautiful. Chef Antonio is a very nice person and a professional, I really enjoyed the cooking master-class with him.

I stayed in Villa for 9 nights and no one came to change the towels or the trash bin.

Villa Palamara 1868 is a wonderful gem. The historical buildings are set in amongst an abundant garden, with a scenic pool found amongst figs, lemons and limes. The sunsets from the courtyard are breathtaking. Our apartment (apartment with sea view) comfortably fitted our family of five and was charmingly and thoughtfully decorated. Owner, Francesco has thought of everything. We had great aircon, satellite tv, wifi, the use of a central washing machine and so many extras (tea, coffee, oil etc). The apartment was spotlessly clean and so welcoming. We had easy access to the waste disposal (and our apartment provided all four bins for sorting making it very simple to do things correctly). We did a cooking class with Chef Antonio and Piena - a highlight of our four month trip! Our three daughters made a 3 course, Sicilian meal including their own pasta. Bellissimo! Villa Palamara also offers a very well priced breakfast on site and there was a great range of plentiful choices (meats, cheese, bread, toast, jams, Sicilian cakes, great coffee, tea etc). The driveway is steep but once you’ve driven it once, it’s easy and the automatic gate is a big plus. You can walk for 10 mins to the pebbled beach below, where you can dine or take a short car trip into historic Sant Ambrogio for great pizza at Sikula! Cefalu was a short (5 min drive) away.
