Montgomery Large 2 Bedroom Flat - 5 Mins Walk to City Centre

Beautiful, comfortable, clean, quiet. A tesco express and restaurants nearby. Bus and tram stop nearby.

The “well equipped” kitchen does not have a coffee pot! The clothes washer was not working but was repaired after I notified them and sent the requested video, the clothes dryer rack and many of the window blind strings are very high, way beyond my reach and I am unable to stand on chairs to reach any of it. It is close to city Centre but certainly more than a 5 min walk.. 2 flights of stairs to reach it. My mistake not realizing ground floor is zero rather than 1st floor.

Lovely large living area & kitchen. Bedrooms comfortable. Bathroom was great. Centrally located within walking distance of all attractions.

Lack of some items in kitchen. Only one wine glass and one teaspoon. No corkscrew either that we could find. Just small things but for the money we paid it was a bit disappointing.

The flat was super nice, with all facilities available. It was like coming to a hotel; white linen and towels that smelled so good! No bedbugs! Hehe.. It had two big, soft beds, so it was like sleeping in a cloud. It was important to me that the flat had tiles instead of carpet floor in the bathroom, one of the main reasons for choosing it. The flat smelled nice and fresh. Also liked the web page with information about the flat that was available from the night before and during the stay. Quiet neighbourhood with 3 min walk to a cute wee coffee shop and grocery store where you can buy breakfast and fresh bread. View towards Calton Hill. Pro tip; nearest tram stop is "Picardy place", and the tram goes all the way to and from the airport. (We hopped of at princess street, and walked and walked...)

It says 5 mins to city centre, but keep in mind that this is Edinburgh. The city is not flat, hehe, so we used a bit more time to get to princess street (if that is concidered city centre.) It also depends on how fast you walk, obviously. I also copied the address and pasted it right into google maps, but it interpreted it as 74 Montgomery street and not 37/ flat 4 so I was searching for the key box for quite some time before asking one of the locals. So be aware of that :)
