Aldea San Lam - Oasis Of Tulum

Cozy room nicely furnished, with well equipped kitchenette and nice view on the swimming pool patio area. Very silent both at night and day. Smooth self check in, we have then randomly met the host in the common circulation area and he gave us a few tips for the area.

The swimming pool could have been cleaner, there were leafs and water didn't flow away. The location is ok if you have a car, it's walking distance from the center but I wouldn't recommend walking back by night, especially in the last few blocks which are a bit dark and there is not a soul.

The hosts were great. Very friendly and helpful.

Some noise from equipment of the property and some minor hot water availability issues. The property is at the edge of the town so some walking is required to go to the center.

No staff present on site, however, I had all the info I needed to enjoy my time in Tulúm like taxi numbers…

We really liked our accommodation: the room was basically a little apartment, with a living/cooking area, bedroom and bathroom. The outside pool is super nice and you can also rent bikes from the owner for 100p/day. It is not centrally located and you need a car for sure to reach it, but to me the location was perfect because I preferred to stay away from the hotel area which to me looked like a tourist trap.

I would have put a bit more equipment for the kitchen (plates, cutlery etc)

Amazing little oasis out of the chaos in town. Palma Central nearby is a must.
