Host & Stay - Shipwright Lodge

Shipwright Lodge was just perfect. Flat was in a nice quiet spot, parking was a great bonus. Only 2 minutes walk to the harbour. Plenty variety of eating places. The Angel was perfect for a drink and to watch the world go by. Trenches for a fish tea was delightful.

Shipwright Lodge, Whitby We had a lovely stay at the Shipwright Lodge in Whitby. The apartment was modern with everything you need. It is situated a few minutes walk from the harbour and the centre of whitby. The parking was right outside the apartment and we will definitely use this again

Loved everything about this apartment it was a fantastic location 2 minute walk to the centre of whitby apartment was lovely and a great wee side garden for are small dog that was well secured. Will definitely be booking this apartment again.

There wasn't anything I didn't like.

Great little ground floor apartment , nice modern decor. Parking space which seems to be rare in Whitby! Added bonus was a nice wrap around garden/ courtyard. Location was perfect, 5 minute walk to the harbour.

The builders working on another property right outside the bedroom window ( started at 8am every morning !) They parked their work van next to our car which made it a very tight squeeze to get into the car. Obviousley no fault to the owners of Shipright lodge. It wouldnt stop us staying here again , we loved the apartment.

Mattress in bedrooms all need replacing you sit on them and the mattress collapses . Also bath is very very slippy need either a handle or a slip mat or both could be very dangerous for an elderly person. It also said cleaning products and bathroom products would be provided there was none and only 1 toilet roll for 6 days we had to buy washing up liquid and clothes etc toilet rolls and bathroom products….. would of brought them with us if we had known .

Modern well equipped

Uncomfortable beds, freezer not cleaned after last guest rubbish and food remnants left, patio furniture filthy needed to be washed down before use, ovenshelves with burned on food, covering by silver foil doesn't cut it. Parking requires black taxi turning circle.
