Balmoral Stays 3 - First Floor

It was dirty, needed a good dust and hoover. Crumbs and webs all over. Paint peeling from walls and damp. Bedding stunk! Radiator hanging off wall. Worst accommodation we've ever stayed in

The property was close to the pier/front , the area where it is in is very poor though and not worth the money it is being charged at

The location was poor of where it is situated- a more fair price should reflect this. Accessibility is poor , there is no information that the stairs are large stairs higher than usual. The entrance to the room didn’t seem secure , handle broke when having to pull due to doors not fitting door frames so have to bang to close, this was same for bathroom door. Had to message owner for more toilet roll only two rolls provided for a 3 night stay for 4 people. When entering there was a previous guests clothing found behind bed. The additional cost of parking for the property was excessive when you see where you have to park , not the safest place to park at night. Overall apartment not bad but wouldn’t stay again.

Property is newly renovated so its nice and did smell good. its walking distance to the beach and other attractions. easy and smooth check in and check out. friendly host.

Lack of Stove and Oven (Not Disclosed Prior to Booking): One of the main reasons we choose holiday homes or apartments is the convenience of having a full kitchen, especially with kids—for preparing breakfast, snacks, and quick meals. Unfortunately, after paying the non-refundable damage deposit, we received a confirmation message stating that the property does not offer a stove or oven, along with an apology for the inconvenience. This crucial detail was not disclosed before the booking was finalized, which left us extremely disappointed. We had passed up more affordable hotel options assuming this place offered better facilities, only to be let down. Important information like this should be made clear to guests upfront—not after payment. Poor Hygiene Standards: The bedsheets, pillowcases, and towels were noticeably unclean. I used the hand towel after a shower and was horrified to find grey hair stuck to it—it was genuinely disgusting, and I still feel uneasy just thinking about it. Dirty Kitchen Utensils: All the kitchenware—plates, glasses, and cups—were stained, smelled unpleasant, and appeared not to have been properly cleaned. This made us very hesitant to use anything from the cupboards. Unhygienic Cleaning Supplies: The sponge left by the kitchen sink for dishwashing was extremely old, dirty, and worn out. It looked so unsanitary that we didn’t even feel comfortable touching it, let alone using it for cleaning. Uncomfortable Bed: The bed in the bedroom was very small and not at all comfortable for two people to sleep on. It significantly affected the quality of our rest during the stay. Noise from Upstairs Room: The room located upstairs caused a lot of noise throughout our stay, which was very disturbing and made it difficult to sleep, especially during the night. The lack of sound insulation made it hard to relax or rest properly.

Close to everything we needed,clean good size,great communication with owners will definitely book again

Loved our stay here so clean and close to all the places we wanted to visit quiet at night. Great stay. I will definitely be booking again 😊

Great location short walk to pier, pleasure beach, wetherspoons and other amenities.

Walls are paper thin, we could hear every argument and TV show in the other apartments. This isn't too much of a deal for us. If you don't need a silent stay then it's not an issue.
