The area is closer to shops, restaurants

The couch is the sitting area was dirty and not comfortable. The bedroom door did not close. They said it has wifi, and I requested the credentials, they promised to send and that never happened until I checked out.

"Gorgeous quiet apartment"

The apartment was laid out very well and very spacious. All amenities were available. The block is quiet and clean and security is impeccable. Situated just off the main road which gave us access to the Cape Quarter for shopping and restaurants.

"avoid this stay - worst experience in Capetown"

This property is managed by https://www.lastay.co.za. Do not trust this company. Upon our arrival at 305 The Signature Waterkant, the room was not properly cleaned and the wrong keys were in the PO box. (You do not meet with someone, they give you a pincode to a PO box to get the keys). A colleague from the manager Sharon was to come over to handle this error.. never saw this person. Fortunately the cleaning staff was in the reception area, they let us into the right apartment but did not give us a key. We were stuck in this apartment, as we did not receive the key, and did not want to stay there. It was dirty, not cleaned and had a horrible smell/high humidity (I'm asthmatic so very aware of this). We called La stay manager Sharon, their offices and contacted them via booking.com chat, we finally got response via phone after pro-actively contacting them as we did not hear back : we immediately let them know we did not wish to stay in this apartment. See pictures attached as proof of our findings. We waited for more than an hour, still no key, and pro-actively called them several times with no answer. We checked the booking.com chat again and again and after more than 2 hours they asked if we wanted to see another apartment. Due to the fact we a) did not get an answer after now +2 hours of waiting, b) we did not see the manager of Lastay as promised and c) the fact it was getting dark soon and our safety was at risk (CT is a city we try to avoid moving around after sunset), we immediately denied the offer and asked to see someone to find a solution. After this we waited and waited but no answer from Sharon. We stayed in the room 'til 19h PM and no answer, so we booked another stay for our own safety and left as it was getting dark in 30 minutes. It was only the day after that they responded and said I left so I had to pay the full 600 euro - 6 nights stay. I have tried contacting them again and again but they do not answer anymore

everything - avoid this place. This is run by a property management company that does not take its clients seriously.
