3 bedroom caravan 14 kingsgate

Received a message a couple days before we visited to advise the WiFi was down across the park but when we arrived it was working fine which was lovely, caravan was tidy upon arrival with beds made up nicely, we were situated in a quiet part of the park which was wonderful. Didn't really see many staff as we were out most days but they all seemed happy and very polite. Swimming pools were nice, well maintained and well staffed with lifeguards, staff running the arcade area was lovely and so helpful and caring. The park and football area was really nice too. For our first caravan holiday we were happy and would stay again.

The van was well equipped. Nice site conveniently located for the village and bus and train stops.

Just the lamp in the double bedroom doesn’t really work.

This caravan was perfect for our needs! It is spacious, with comfortable beds, a well-equipped kitchen, nice quiet site, easy to find with parking nearby. The site has great facilities too, a bar, arcades, indoor and outdoor pools, laundrette, bike hire, and walking trails nearby.

The caravan was mostly clean and tidy, however there was a bit of mould starting in the shower, a pair of socks left on the shelf under the TV, and glitter in and around the caravan (I assume from the previous guests). Minor issues but could benefit from a more thorough clean/checking for items left behind.

At first it seemed to be overall really lovely on first glance until we noticed that it wasn’t what was listed.

Everything listed in the facilities was false. No bath, no WiFi, etc. The crockery was dirty. The owner of the caravan offered us late check out which we thought we would need however we left before we needed to. We are a family who have disabled family members and so the bath was vital for skin conditions and general hygiene. The shower wouldn’t get hot and so was unusable. The owner has since bribed me that they would give me a refund or partial refund if I give them a 10 rating review. However I will now start the proceeds of a refund through my bank. STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOLIDAY HOME.

Lovely location, plenty of parking, didn't use much of the site activities but the indoor pool was fun. The caravan needs some attention, we stayed early April '25 but it felt like they hadn't done a pre clean for the season to start. Only two seats outside on the porch bit pain for 8 berth! but handy to have a gated bit to keep dogs or kids safe. Very small shower room if you're more than 5ft 5 inch you'll burn your knees if you use the toilet. INTERNET !! signal *@#! well, let's just say we had two very unhappy teenagers. When I messaged the owner he was aware of poor signal and offered £50 off next stay. ( hmmm) I had a message the day we left telling me I'd broken the bed and window lock... I beg to differ. *whatever* BUT If you just want somewhere to sleep at night, then this is the right place for you. The deck bit is slippy when wet, but I have cleaned it from all the moss and mold. The van is in a wooded area, so the deck needs cleaning regularly. The slope in front of the van from the car park is muddy! Use the pebbled track! The shower is ok, nothing to write home about. The mop is the same handle as the sweeping brush! I could go on and on,but just enjoy the beautiful island!
