Breakfast was amazing. Lots of options for you, fruits, eggs. The washroom is huge with shower amenities. Wifi works well. It's just a big new apartment for each room that has its own bunk bed.

The owner sometimes gets angry, but then says sorry. Location tracking was so hard. Booking.com provided a location I followed but it was a different location. The owner sent it to me through WhatsApp. Beds are not very nice. Very quiet place. Roommates snored like crazy. But he was a nice person. Very far from the city center. No lockers. The owner comes to your room anytime. No privacy.

Unfortunately the host sent a message mid way through my journey to Madrid to say the booking had been changed to another property.

When I arrived at the new property I asked why the booking had been changed and could I access WIFi so that I could compare the two venues. This request was met with a tirade of abuse from the host and I was told that this property was newer, the Hab Hostel was closed and I was too old to stay anyway because it was for students. I sat at the kitchen table and refused to leave before I had received a refund. After 20 minutes of further verbal abuse and an attempt to physically remove me from the chair I eventually got notification of the refund. Had I been more vulnerable and less robust person this situation would have been serious as it was it was merely deeply unpleasant. Looking at all the reviews of Hab I see I am not the only one to have experienced this and the hosts aggressive behaviour. After this encounter the host sent further unwarranted and abusive messages which I didn’t reply to.

El ambiente en general fue bastante correcto y la ubicación es muy práctica para moverse por Madrid. El proceso de gestión de la estancia y la atención resultaron sencillos y sin complicaciones.

Al tratarse de una habitación compartida, el espacio y la privacidad lógicamente son limitados, pero nada fuera de lo común para este tipo de estancias cortas de una noche.

Le manque de propreté des salles de bain en particulier L'agencement est étrange : il serait préférable d'installer un petit salon et salle à manger juste en face de la cuisine. Inverser avec la disposition actuelle.
