Great homestay near Jonker Street. The location is very convenient & the unit is clean with a nice view. The bed is comfortable & all basic amenities are well-maintained. Host was responsive & check-in was smooth. Overall, a pleasant & comfortable stay.

Very responsive host, and the view and the swimming pool are really nice.

The apartment was not clean, with two large cockroaches in the living room and a persistent smell of cigarette smoke. The host was not very understanding about the situation. Also have to add an extra 80 RM cleaning fee, which is only applied once the payment is completed.

Our trip to Melaka was completely ruined by this booking. Shortly after I made the reservation, I noticed that the amount charged to my credit card was nearly three times higher than what was shown on Booking.com. I contacted the owner to clarify the pricing, and she simply told me to contact booking customer service. Since we were scheduled to check in the next day, I did not bother to worry about it. We arrived at the property at 3:55 PM on the day. Before arriving, I messaged the owner asking for check-in instructions. To my surprise, she asked if I wanted to cancel the booking. I was shocked but replied that my booking was confirmed. She then said that once I checked in, I wouldn’t be able to cancel the booking. Given her strange response and the suspicious overcharge, I told her I would check with Booking.com about cancellation and refund options. When I spoke to customer support, they informed me that the owner had full authority to approve a refund and all she needed to do was email them with confirmation. That’s when the situation started to spiral. I messaged the owner asking if she would approve the refund. Suddenly, she became extremely "busy"—saying she was driving, then attending to other guests, and doing laundry. She claimed to have already emailed customer support and asked us to wait. Trusting her, we waited outside the building—my 93 year old grandmother, my 70 year old mother, and I—under the hot sun with no water, food, or access to shelter. As time went on, it became clear she was stalling. She gave us neither a refund nor the room code. After four hours of waiting in the heat, my elderly family members were becoming unwell and my phone battery was died. Desperately I approached a local couple walking their dog. They spoke to the owner using their phone. Only then did the owner finally send us the room code. We had planned to explore Melaka but ended up seeing nothing, as we had to leave at 5AM the next morning.

Ideal para rentar varios días y visitar la cuidad. La zona es tranquila, no es ruidoso por la noche, se puede dormir sin problemas.
