Beautiful Caravan For Hire With A Partial Sea View In Suffolk Ref 32042Az

Location was absolutely spot on for us and what we had planned for the weekend.

Cleanliness wasn't the best, we had to wash a lot of the crockery and cutlery provided before using as most of it was dirty. There was a strange smell in the living room like a musty smell and then the bathrooms were an overbearing smell of bleach/chemicals. The sofa in the living room had endless amounts of stains on as well as the carpet in the living room. The pillows provided weren't the best either very flat and uncomfortable.

Accommodation was as described. On arrival it was clean, secure and as expected. It's well equipped with an oven, microwave, toaster etc. Everyone was really friendly and welcoming, the nearby beach is not overly busy and the woods across the road have a lovely coffee shack too! Would stay again

Nothing. Would only add that it's not easy to find and might benefit from having a number or something that makes it easier to find. One of the decking lights is flickering so turned it off so it didn't annoy the neighbors.

The caravan was very clean when we arrived. The location is difficult to reach on foot, however the reason we booked was becuase my grandmother owned a caravan on this site up until a couple of years ago. So we wanted to stay somewhere familiar. The beach is always quiet in this location and is a short walk from the caravan. It’s a small village so ideal for when you just want to get away for a quiet break. Lowestoft is easily accessible on foot, by bus or by car. The small village shop is very expensive and the 1 staff member runs 2 stalls so it’s difficult to buy what you need! There is a large Tesco about a mile away. However the day we arrived it was pouring with rain. So we had to get a taxi there, when we initially wanted to walk. Finding a taxi was difficult, most were offering an hours wait. There is great scenery near by with a woodland area, a park opposite the site, making it ideal for kids. They have car boots there on Tuesday mornings. I would definitely stay here again. It gave us the freedom to cook throughout our stay and there wasn’t a utensil that we needed but didn’t have. It was genuinely great. The washing up area is very small and there is no draining rack. But you adapt and wash / dry something up as soon as you use it. The tv was great, location is quiet, beach is beautiful, nearby residents are friendly. It’s perfect for wanting to be somewhere quiet where you don’t feel like a tourist. I will definitely book here again.

The back door was a bit fiddly, you have to play about with it to get it to open. It was also very hot in the caravan at times, we had the doors open with the nets covering the windows for privacy. It really could do with a fan for the warmer months. It was so hot we came back completely sunburnt. So being in a hot metal tin was difficult! I also found that almost every utensil or piece of crockery we used needed cleaning. I completely understand that the cleaners are there to ensure it’s tidy and clean in general. It’s up to the guest to ensure the items in the cupboards are put back clean. However, genuinely almost every item had to be cleaned. It looked as though a lot of it was just rinsed then put in the cupboard. So I do think the cleaners should be checking this, as that was a little unpleasant.
