Apartment fabulous. Great location. Enjoyed our stay. Would go back.

Unfortunately unless you drive a very small car parking unusable. We did manage to park outside the driveway.

It was filthy dirty , the shower still had water on the tray and the glass and hair in it , the oven smoked when we turned it on as hadn’t been cleaned, saucepans had food on , sweet wrappers in bedroom , thick dust on everything , stained furniture, stains on cushions , the chaise long was filthy , windows so dirty we couldn’t see out , I could go on and on ! Clearly not cared for , plants were dry as a bone and dying , what an absolute rip off , no response from owner after complaint

Car parking space is small

Lenka who manages the property is helpful and responsive. We did however leave the apartment earlier than planned, and paid for, because we were struggled to sleep in the internal bedroom that also houses the boiler (2nd bedroom). We feel the marketing of the property is misrepresentative, a windowless room should not be classified as a bedroom. Moreover, having a boiler in a windowless, unventilated space intended for sleeping added to our concerns. Although there was an extractor fan and a carbon monoxide monitor, we simply didn’t feel comfortable sleeping in the room. It’s a shame, as the rest of the apartment well appointed.

The location was fantastic - extremely convenient for everything in Teignmouth and for getting to Shaldon. The ferry to Shaldon was a real hit with the children as was the park opposite the apartment. The main living area in the apartment was wonderfully light and spacious. The owner responded immediately - and positively - when we raised a relatively minor issue.

I think if we had been a party of four adults, we would have found the second bedroom disappointingly small - though it was adequate for two young children. I couldn't find a bread knife but otherwise the apartment was well equipped (though a lot of decorative breakables!). The parking area is also very tight and we don't have a particularly large car - we had to roll into the road to open the doors.

A great apartment. Clean, comfortable and includes everything you need for your stay. It's a beautiful holiday home full of charm. Parking is tight but we managed. A small/medium car will fit.
