Sea Glass - 2 Bedroom Apartment - Manorbier

Great location close to Manorbier beach and castle. Very little else in Manorbier - cafe was closed all week (open Friday to Sunday), only The Castle pub next door was open. Very quiet and tranquil village. Apartment was serviceable - comfortable and well equipped but didn't feel special. Some milk and a pack of Welsh cakes were kindly left for us on arrival.

The apartment felt a bit musty - stale smell when we arrived that was hard to shift as most of the windows didn't open. There was also a lot of carpet/clothes moths flying around which made it feel rather unclean. I also felt that, given the price, the host could have provided more than half a roll of toilet paper and an empty salt pot! There was no provision to make anything other than instant coffee - the addition of a cafetiere would have been nice and not difficult to provide. Parking was provided but a very small space that you need to parallel park your car in - avoiding the wall and steps as you do so. Not a problem out of season as we parked up the road but could be an issue in high season.

Lovely presented 2 bedrooms apartment well located, close to the beach and amenities. Can't valorate staff as I didn't see them, but everything was well organised and essential things to have for breakfast the first morning. Thank you 😊

The only issue was that the bedside lamps in the main bedroom flickered all night even though they were off We had to take the plug out of the socket to resolve the issue Apart from that no issues to report

Such a beautiful location, just a short walk from the beach and next to a beautiful little pub. We will be back!

Another review mentioned a hole in the floor next to the toilet... it's still there! It didn't bother us though. You can also smell that they accept dogs, but again, we expected this and it didn't bother us.

The one positive was the location — it’s very close to the beach and right next door to a fantastic pub with great food.

We stayed in this apartment for three nights and, unfortunately, it did not meet our expectations. The place could really do with a lick of paint, as the walls looked tired and marked in several areas. Cleanliness was also an issue — the rug had crumbs all over it, which made it feel like it hadn’t been properly vacuumed. The bathroom was in poor condition, with a dirty floor and a large hole near the toilet that had been covered over with lino carpet, which felt unsafe and unprofessional. On top of that, there was a noticeable dog smell throughout the apartment, which was unpleasant and made the stay less comfortable. With some much-needed maintenance, repairs, and a deep clean, this property could be much improved.

Im Schlafzimmer ließ sich das Fenster nicht öffnen. Muffiger Geruch in der ganzen Wohnung.

Location was excellent, the apartment was small but comfortable. The bedrooms were small, expecially the bunks. Teh place was generally clean and the owner was very responsive to fix anything.
