Stunning Sea View Studio Unit@ Horizons 101

This studio is located on one of the higher floors and faces east, so the noise from the busy road won’t bother you and you’ll enjoy the scenic view of the city and the sea. Although small, it is very functionally and nicely decorated with airconditioning, a smoke detector, a sprinkler, a kitchenette, a small refrigerator and of course a rice cooker. I had a good night’s sleep thanks to the comfortable double bed and the silence at night. I liked that there are plentiful cafés and cheap eateries in the vicinity, e.g. a 7-Eleven at the entrance and Mango Square across the street. Recommendable to solo travellers and couples, who are looking for conveniently located accommodation at affordable prices and who would like to eat out every day.

The amount of kitchen utensils, cutlery and plates is very limited, allowing only for simple meals to be prepared and had. The cleanliness can be improved, because I found dust and hairs throughout the accommodation. Then there were small annoyances, such as my access card not working and the ever changing water pressure. Besides, only two out of the four lifts were operating, so expect crowded lifts and queues throughout the day. Lastly, I didn't like the area for there are a lot of dodgy characters (beggars, hookers), the traffic is crazy and there is nothing interesting to see or do.

Hosts were great and had no problem check-in after our late arrival from the airport. Cute room and a nice view from the 19th floor. Pools also looked great but unfortunately we haven't had the time to check it out :/

Numerous mysterious ants coming in from the window. For a highrise building that's not ideal. Heavy fragrances were in the bathroom to cover the smell, but I think these issues are more of the building's
