Fantastic location overlooking the marina. Everything new and clean

Le logement était très bien agencé, Très confortable. Vue superbe sur la marina et les bateaux de croisière au 4ème étage... que demander de mieux ?

Malgré les appréciations déjà évoquées par d'autres hôtes, les odeurs de l'évier de la cuisines étaient encore désagréables c'est dommage !....

Atrašanās vieta ir lieliska, vecpilsēt', visi galvenie vecpilsētas objekti turpat netālu, arī veikaliņi un restorāni. Skats pa logu brīnišķīgs. Nedaudz dzirdams ielas troksnis, jo atrodas pie aktīvas ielas, tomēr naktī lietoju ausu aizbāžņus, un mani tas neietekmēja. Ļoti patika īpašais apgaismojums, ērts matracis un ļoti aromātiskas ziepes un šampūns.

Pa nakti mazliet traucēja ledusskapja rūkoņa.

What a find! The apartment was right in the centre of Funchal with views from the balcony of the harbour and city. It was clean and the bed was huge and very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

Location is a massive advantage, view is nice and the balcony is in the sun most of the day. Apartment has everything you need for a short stay.

I would have rated higher if not the following: 1. Hard bed. 2. Noise from the street. 3. Scratches on the wall, torn wallpaper. 4. It took over a month to respond to a simple question about taxi pick up location. 5. The check-in info wasn't sent on time. We had to request the code to enter the building and the apartment. The first code they provided did not work and we were stood outside for 15 minutes trying to get hold of someone, but no one answered the phone. After 15 minutes they finally sent the new codes. Once we entered the apartment, it looked like it either had not been cleaned or someone was still living there. We reported it immediately (approx 60 seconds after they sent the codes) and there was no answer for 1.5 hours. This was very disappointing as we didn't know what to do. It didn't feel safe to leave our luggage there as it seemed like someone might be coming back to their apartment, so we had to take it all with us. Luckily we had no timed tickets or trips planned for the day we arrived, but if that was the case, we would struggle massively with the luggage and probably would not be accepted on a tour. When someone responded to our messages, we were told they prefer to explain the situation oved the phone. It took another half an hour for them to call us. We were told that there was a fault in their system and the room was marked as cleaned when in fact it wasn't. That's fine, we understand that these things happen, but why did it take this much time to respond? We were given a different apartment (no balcony) for the first night and then were asked to move to the apartment we paid for from the 2nd night onwards. No compensation, no further communication regarding this issue. However, from day 2 we were sent multiple messages each day, such as weather warnings and announcements. Shame they weren't so keen to message us when there was an issue.

We were impressed by the cleanliness of the premises.The location was ideal for our visit.

Location, balcony with a view, clean, easy to find and get into, good communication. Unfortunately our two night stay turned into just a shower and a few hours sleep on the last night due to a delay getting back from Porto Santo (ferry and flights had been cancelled). So although I can’t really comment on staying, it felt like a place I would have enjoyed.
