Treehouse in Devon - 2 bedrooms and hot tub

The Treehouse is amazing, a fabulous 2 night stay with friends. Local pub walkable for tapas. Peace and tranquility surrounded us, Ray was a fantastic host, sorting the wood fired hot tub for us so it was ready for our first night. The treehouse experience is a definite thumbs up from our group. Watching the squirrels & birds was lovely, super comfy beds & relaxing lounge. Great stay.

The tree house is a very unique building, the bed is large comfy clean and warm, the whole place was nice and cosy. The wood burning is a nice addition this time of Yr, the kitchen was well layed out, but I found the microwave a little too high. The bathroom was clean and the water was hot.

The hottub, I understood the hottub was a wood burning 1, but I did expect it to be ready for our arrival, we didn't get to enjoy it till late on our 2nd day, and then it was way too hot, we waited till around 7pm to try again but it was too much, we eventually got in it early morning on our 3rd day. The owner likes to empty it and refill everyday. We managed to time our day out and be bk before it got too hot, and then enjoyed a lovely few hrs in it. We didn't bother with it again after that. I really think they need to get a temperature gauge for it.

It’s uniqueness

The tree house is absolutely amazing. Located in the beautiful Devon countryside, is well equipped and beautifully decorated. The beds are extremely comfortable, kitchen has everything you possibly need, and Anne and Ray are the best hosts ever. In the morning you can watch the the squirrels chasing each other on the balcony, listen to birds chirping and in the evening you can watch the sun go down from the incredible hot tub. This place is Heaven!

We loved the setting in the woods and being surrounded by trees. The kitchen was well-equipped (including a washing machine!), the beds comfortable, and the shower great. There were some games and books available too. We liked the balcony seating and were entertained by the squirrels!

The country lanes - but that’s Devon!

Totally surpassed our expectations and we could have stayed forever! Ray and Anna are wonderful hosts and went above and beyond to make our stay relaxing, memorable and super comfortable. The treehouse is magical and being high in the trees was incredibly calming and serene especially with the sound of the river below. Inside there is all you can need, with huge comfortable beds, gorgeous sofas, a very well-equipped kitchen and great shower and bathroom. The decoration is beautiful and it is a truly wonderful place. One of the highlights was relaxing in the hot tub, surrounded by trees, as the sun set - a perfect way to end the day. We were so sad to leave and would go back in a heartbeat.

There was nothing to dislike

Entering underneath was not a great first impression but not sure what the owners could do really. One very very minor things. Table can’t really seat 4 which is a shame.
