Rush Hill Cottage - with parking for 2 cars

The mattresses on the beds were wonderful - this is frequently a low point on rental properties, so was a welcome surprise. Whilst we actually didn't really take advantage (we were there mainly to visit a nearby village), the location for someone focusing on Bath itself would have been excellent. It was nice to have the chance to sit in the garden too.

The TV seemed to give concerts or bad movies, no matter what the channel claimed to be, so we eventually gave up on it. Frankly, the house was hard to find, given there is no dropped kerb and no other sign: I think we drove past it about 3 times! I don't think the suspension on the car has forgiven me yet. The kitchen could have been cleaner: I washed a few things before I cooked.

it was lovely and clean , very cosy and comfortable. really enjoyable.

there seemed to be a bit of a woodlouse problem. especially in the bathroom. the kitchen floor (between the tiles) there was some sort of a leak ? as if it was coming up through the floor.

Reasonably sized and not too far from central Bath (about a 10 minute drive). Quite clean and every item necessary was provided. Parking for two cars was useful.

Very hard to find - we drove past it 3 times. Some parts of the house were quite shabby and run down - especially the bathroom (which is on the ground floor). Doesn’t look like much has been spent on the place in a while. There was also a building site next door with piles of materials, rubble and a skip - not the best view. Builders didn’t start too early but there was a fair amount of noise when they did.

dusty and dirty esp downstairs and the bathroom water leaking on floor in the kitchen couldn’t sleep because the traffic so loud garden not looked after ( first impressions are important ) tv not very good quality 3rd bedroom not big enough to sleep a teenage boy
