Tram station rooms by CityPillow since 2019

I was able to locate and access the property easily. The instructions regarding the key boxes were very clear.

You could hear other guests moving around and going up and down the stairs. With wooden floors and few furnishings, the property and my room (Room 1) had a cold feeling (although the temperature in the room was perfect).

The apartment left a mixed impression. It feels like the renovation was done by a very generous owner, but everything else — by a stingy one! The kitchen is really nice, though there are too many unnecessary ovens. A microwave would’ve been more than enough — nobody really cooks that much! The dishes are beautiful, though there was only one teaspoon and a tiny knife. Overall, everything was fine. The bathroom is excellent, with a good renovation. There’s one bathroom for two rooms, but we stayed with a girl roommate — we hardly saw or heard her! The best part was that after checking out, we were allowed to leave our things, and later, when we came back for them, we could sit in the kitchen, have some tea, and make sandwiches for the road!

The roommate’s room was 14 m², while ours was only 10 m² for two people. Nowhere was it mentioned that the rooms were so small. Although both rooms have minimal furniture. When we first entered, we were a bit shocked, but then got used to it. There’s little space for belongings. The bed is also quite small for two people. What we really didn’t like, however, was the bed linen and the worn-out black towels, which clearly need to be replaced! Only one towel is provided per person. The duvets are thin but warm. We sleep in the cold with the window open, and it was comfortable. The bathroom curtain really needs at least a good wash. The radiator in the room is very dirty and should be cleaned. The door also creaks — the hinges need oiling. At night, the creaking sounds twice as loud. If all these small issues are fixed, the apartment would be excellent — even with such simple furniture!

Great little spot with great facilities and a comfortable bed. It is a bit out from the city center, but the public transportation is free and really fast in Lux so it isn't a probem at all. It is actually really nice to be in a different more local neighborhood anyhow and for the price, you just can't beat it. I also really appreciated the desk inside the room which allowed me to get my work done efficiently as I work remote.

The pillows could be a bit more full. I know it's this european thing with crappy pillows, but I just can't get over it. =P
